Now Treason
Most people have experienced a flashlight failure at a critical juncture during a repair or while following a path to a safe location. There’s a natural inclination to hurry as the beam fades. That’s when mistakes are made; when we are likely to trip and fall.
Although everyone knows that banging the flashlight against a hard surface doesn’t prolong the battery life, it offers an immediate hopeful remedy. And it releases frustration.
This need for catharsis when under pressure is the reason Obama was elected. With the help of a biased media, he convinced 52% of the voters that he could create light by simply reversing President Bush’s policies.
The media persuaded the voters that Obama epitomized a new age of enlightenment. They touted his vision of world peace, and claimed he transcended politics. As it turned out, his hope and change rhetoric was just banalities that artfully concealed his mistrust and ignorance of business and America’s respect for earned success.
The words of his handlers displayed on a teleprompter kept him on message. And the campaign message was simple. He offered to share the remaining light equally. This appealed to Americans who were being fed a steady diet of survival economics and doom and gloom forecasts.
The voters saw a guy more likeable than John McCain and gave his empty resume the benefit of the doubt, knowing America’s resourcefulness would find a better light source, regardless of the election outcome.
It never crossed their minds that Obama couldn’t comprehend the simple fact that America’s prosperity was built on its ingenuity, and that personal initiative, innovation, risk taking and the will to succeed were foreign to his thinking and experiences.
The lights are going out in America. The engines of commerce and security are fluttering. Even in the dimming light, it’s apparent that Mr. Obama doesn’t know how to unleash and motivate the private sector.
He thinks that the spirit upon which the nation was built belongs in a government harness. That’s like putting the winner of the Kentucky Derby behind a plow. Of course, Obama probably believes that thoroughbreds should share their fame and fortune with the plow horses.
This ignorant, little man is using his gifted oratory to undermine the source of America’s strength, while pretending the temporary flare emitted by burning the Constitution is the guiding light he promised the nation.
Obama is not evil, but he seems motivated by the desire to see the nation fail. In truth, like his wife, he is not proud of what the nation has accomplished because he never contributed to its success. He owes his presidency to artificial standards, reverse discrimination and the mounting ignorance of the voters.
The depth of his loathing is personified by his administration’s release of secret documents detailing where its nuclear arsenal is hidden. By any definition that is an act of treason. Evidently his economic treachery and his Hate America tours aren’t satisfying his desire to bury the nation.
