Congress Beware!

Mr. Obama, Pelosi and Reid are stuffing federal control down the throats of every American. Those accustomed to living on the government dole are comfortable with trading individual freedom for handouts.

Fortunately for America, this socialist threesome forgot that it is only the welfare recipients who aren’t interested in the fine print.

Nor do the welfare recipients especially care (or realize) that the dollars are confiscated from the pockets of other Americans. Although these parasites are expert at milking the system, their sole criteria for judging government efficiency is based on the arrival time of their checks.

These are the folks who will continue to vote for Pelosi, Reid and Obama. And clearly these are the people that Representative John Conyers Jr., D-MI, best understands. That’s why he was comfortable telling all Americans that he doesn’t bother, nor has the inclination, to read the legislation he votes for.

His constituency is not concerned with the details. The only question he has ever had to answer is “How much will I get for free? It’s his ability to answer this question that has kept him in office for forty-four years.

So it is not surprising that Conyers doesn’t understand the backlash his comment created for Obama Care. He is totally unfamiliar with tax paying voters. Welcome to the Red States, Mr. Conyers, and let me introduce you to the minority in the Blue States.

It seems that a large number of Democrats will get a crash course in tax payer sentiment when they return home for their August recess.

A funny thing happened when Obama and the spender collective in congress grabbed a trillion dollars to increase the size of the federal government. They created a worthy adversary, the American tax payer.

These fiscal misfits will soon discover the majority of Americans are sane, and are as angry as hell.

The only benefit of the stimulus package is that it created a $787 billion slush fund for the big spenders. It was a pack of lies wrapped in deceit and sold as fiscal salvation. Trust in this administration has declined as rapidly as unemployment has soared.

The only people who haven’t benefited from the stimulus package are the tax payers and their children and grandchildren. Cap and Trade and Obama Care will provide the identical benefits to the tax payers that the stimulus package did. And everyone knows it.

These same socialists will attempt to shove blanket amnesty for illegal aliens down the throats of Americans, serve Israel to the Iranians and gut the Pentagon budget to stave off economic disaster.

They are economic predators, without conscience, religion or the slightest concern for America’s economic future. Why else would they sneak healthcare for illegal aliens into Obama Care during a severe recession? They have more in common with vultures than any other species on planet earth.

Let's Hope They Care

The fiscal mess that Mr. Obama inherited has been compounded four fold by his politics. He can no longer blame his predecessor; he has dug the hole so deep, that President Bush started, that the bedrock is now crumbling.

The Federal Reserve is forecasting that unemployment will grow above 10% and then remain at that level for four to five years. Government revenues are shrinking so rapidly that the interest on the national deficit is not sustainable.

The $787 billion stimulus package has not and will not create any employment in the private sector. The tax burden of Cap & Trade and nationalized healthcare, if passed, will send the United States into a severe depression cycle.

And keep in mind that Pelosi, Reid, Barney Frank and Mr. Obama will let the Bush tax cuts expire next year. This will gut any potential investment capital needed for the growth of small and medium sized companies. No growth: No new jobs. And that ratio is engraved in stone.

Now throw in blanket amnesty for 12 to 20 million illegal aliens who will compete with Americans for the job scraps and swamp the welfare roles. Experts forecast that the first year cost for amnesty will exceed $1 trillion, reduce access to healthcare to a trickle and bankrupt Medicare.

The banks aren’t lending to small business and the recent growth in the stock market is suspect. The dire economic forecasts issued late last year are no longer projected scenarios. They are now reality. This country is teetering on economic ruin.

In the next eighteen months, without massive tax cuts and equally massive cuts in government spending to reduce the deficit, the economy will rapidly deteriorate. The US dollar won’t be worth the paper it is printed on. Expect inflation to raise the cost of goods and services, while wages flat line.

Inflation has historically benefited debtors, allowing them to pay bills with depreciated currency. But it only helps the employed. The unemployed and pensioners face the prospect of higher prices and a reduction in the spending power of their savings.

The elderly depending on Social Security and Medicare are going to get hammered. The future prosperity of our children and grandchildren has already been compromised. The chance of their standard of living being better than their parents is a bet no reasonable person would take.

Forty percent of Americans would sooner vote for a name picked randomly from the phone book than cast a ballot for Obama. The sixty percent sitting on the fence are either on welfare, government bureaucrats or uninformed.

Any elderly person who votes for a Democrat in the 2010 mid-term elections only deserves our scorn. Granted, habits are hard to break. Let’s hope the elderly begin to understand that Obama and the Democrats are engraving their names on tombstones.

We can only ask the elderly to protect America’s future generations. America’s young deserve the same chance for success that all prior generations have inherited. Let’s hope they care.

The Goose and the Golden Eggs

The jury is in. It has been proven that Mr. Obama is incapable of understanding that a family’s earned income is not the property of the US government.

As a child of affirmative action, multi-culturalism and diversity, and as a man whose education and career depended on reverse discrimination, it is only natural for him to see the government as the font of all protection and personal growth.

He is not un-American. That would require knowledge of Middle America. He has never stepped foot in a private enterprise, nor generated a penny in the private sector to support his family. Everything he owns was paid for by the taxpayers. And not uncommon to welfare participants, he is still on the government dole.

Obama is a totally subsidized government product who owes his existence to the work of other Americans. Just like the New General Motors, he was bought and paid for by America’s taxpayers.

That’s why he is comfortable with the 535 members of congress and a government appointed Czar to guide GM’s future. He expects it to be on the government dole until there is no electricity to run the Treasury’s printing presses.

Wealth creation is foreign to him, but he does understand the blessings of income redistribution. It’s this indoctrination that makes it impossible for him to comprehend the backlash against his agenda. The man actually believes that most Americans view the role of government as the primary entity for collecting and distributing wealth.

His nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court was based on her “empathy” for minorities. She has the same mindset as Obama. She views reverse discrimination as a good thing; and, like Obama, she is a totally owned subsidiary of the taxpayers. And as a kindred spirit of Obama, she is probably equally mystified by the Americans’ love of capitalism.

Thus, there should be no surprise that a paragraph in the healthcare legislation, that Obama is championing, clearly states that the medical needs of minorities should be given preference over non-minorities. He knows nothing else.

Nor should there be any surprise that the legislation will require every person who leaves a company that provided private health insurance to enroll in government healthcare. Who would be surprised if he expected people to leave their jobs strictly for the opportunity to enroll in Obama Care? That’s what he would do.

Unlike Pelosi, Reid and Barney Frank, Obama doesn’t see his agenda as a government power grab. He just wants to share the nation’s private wealth to provide an equal opportunity and guaranteed outcome for every legal and illegal person. That’s why he is dangerous.

He doesn’t understand the correlation between sweat and success, between risk and reward, between investment and growth. He doesn’t relate the success of capitalism to government revenues. Obama is willing to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs because he is only familiar with the eggs.

The Liquidation of America

Mr. Obama and congress have anchored the US economy above a fault line. By October, 2009 the national deficit will exceed $1.8 trillion dollars if unemployment stops hemorrhaging. Many experts believe the current 9.5% unemployment statistic will climb above 12%, and maybe higher than 14%.

These numbers don’t include the millions of unemployed that have stopped looking for jobs. Right now, unemployment is well over 12%.

Forty-four states are grappling with severe revenue shortages. History is history. Most governors will raise taxes to narrow the gap. Working families already scrambling to make ends meet will soon face escalating property, sales, income and excise taxes.

The Cap & Trade legislation passed by the House of Representatives is a sledge hammer hanging over every household. This grotesque tax will directly double or triple a family’s energy bills, and substantially increase the cost of their food, shelter and clothing.

Equally insidious, it will confiscate the capital that private enterprise requires to grow, which will push more manufacturing offshore. Cap & Trade guarantees soaring unemployment, which in turn will decrease government revenues (corporate, excise and personal income taxes).

Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid payouts will not be sustainable. The hand writing is already on the wall. The annual cost of living increases have been suspended. The elderly should prepare for massive cuts in benefits.

As discretionary income evaporates the service and retail segments of the economy will shrivel.
Those lucky enough to remain employed will get clobbered with back breaking federal income taxes to stem the bleeding. This disastrous economic cycle is already unfolding.

Now factor in national healthcare. Pelosi, Reid, Barney Frank and Obama plan on covering about one-half of the $1.5 trillion cost with higher taxes on the wealthy. These are the owners of small and medium sized companies.

In effect, these fiscal deviates plan on paying for government run healthcare by confiscating the remaining investment capital required for economic growth that Cap & Trade fails to impound.

And this is rich. They plan on paying for the remaining $750 billion by eliminating the corruption and inefficiencies in the current Medicare and Medicaid programs.

All evidence about government run anything makes this is a joke. An intelligent observer can reasonably expect nationalized healthcare to exceed $3 trillion. Of course, these costs will be reduced by brutal medical rationing. Here’s some advice. Don’t get old because the elderly are going to take the brunt of rationing.

Obama and congress have resorted to paying the US’ bills with freshly printed money. How bad is it? Hillary Clinton and Tim Geithner are running around the globe begging countries to trust our creditworthiness. There is an irony here that should boil the blood of every American.

Outrageous taxes and regulations on US businesses have fueled the manufacturing growth of countries like China, India and all of Indonesia. These obstacles to US economic growth have despoiled US commerce.

Our government representatives are now begging the beneficiaries of our government’s failed policies to buy up America with the wealth we are exporting for their goods and services.

The citizens of the United States are being swindled by President Hope & Change. He is on the verge of liquidating the prosperity of our children and grandchildren. To hate his policies is to love America.

A New Position for Sonia Sotomayor

The problem with hopelessness is that it works. It’s clear that Mr. Obama, Pelosi, Reid and good old Barney Frank are depending on it. They are overloading the nation with such staggering deficits that people are throwing up their hands in despair.

The White House is pushing for a second stimulus package. That’s like buying a pair of pink shoes in the same style and size as the slightly used red ones that never fit. To Pelosi, Barney Frank and Obama this kind of spending decision seems reasonable as long as the charge goes on a stranger’s credit card.

And that is the point. Mr. Obama and his team of socialist miscreants aren’t familiar with the people who pay the bills. They universally view the strangers participating in the Tea Party Tax Revolts as racist, stingy, un-American complainers.

The only tax payers they know are the super rich contributors to their campaigns and the lobbyists seeking endowments, tax breaks, handouts and government contracts for their clientele. The membership in this club is on the receiving end of Obama economics. This explains the enthusiasm of the rich and powerful for Obama’s agenda.

Of course, about 66% of the funds from the first $787 stimulus are going to counties that supported Obama. This could be a coincidence, or maybe the tax payers just funded the world’s largest political campaign fund.

No one should be surprised that Obama’s popularity is receding. The real surprise is that 30% of the voters still think he’s doing an outstanding job. Facts are facts. It’s just difficult to believe that many ignorant and stupid people exist.

In fairness, his supporters should be given the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe they have been in a coma or in a drug rehabilitation program for the last five months. Of course, over one-half the nation will need psychiatric counseling if Pelosi and Reid are still leading congress after the 2010 elections. Maybe that’s why these big spenders are pushing nationalized healthcare.

Obama’s money printing enterprise is in serious trouble. India, China and Russia are looking for an international currency to replace the dollar. In simple terms (for the Obama scholars), these countries are telling the world that Obama’s economic policies left unchecked will cause a worldwide depression.

These competitors are fine with the collapse of the US economy; they just don’t want to be brought down by Obama’s reckless spending. The US citizens can heed their warning or pretend the tax evader Obama hired to mange the Treasury won’t also lie to the voters.

Obama has done one thing right. He has proven that the White House is no place for on-the-job training. To remedy this situation there will be a new Affirmative Action Czar. It will be this person’s task to add points to Obama’s poll scores before the results are published. If Sonia Sotomayor doesn’t get the Supreme Court spot, she would be the ideal candidate for this post.

Appeasement Diplomacy

Farah Fawcett of poster fame, and Michael Jackson, a musician with a penchant for young boys died recently. So did Secretary of Defense, Robert McNamara, and five victims of a serial killer in South Carolina.

Most of us have more in common with the five who suffered violent deaths. They were ordinary people, probably with ordinary futures and ordinary relationships. They had friends and neighbors and classmates and favorite colors and foods and bad habits and good habits.

Their names are important to neither the media nor historians. To those living outside their community, they are merely statistics that appeared in South Carolina’s local papers for a few days. The names are all but forgotten, buried in musty government archives.

Predators are born everyday.

Many, like Stalin, Hitler, Mao Zedong, Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, Ahmadinejad, Putin, Kim Jong-Il and Hugo Chavez are a blight on civilization. These megalomaniacs were and are terrorists without compassion, without conscience, without mercy.

Other than the scale of the massacres they engineer, there is no difference between them and a serial killer or an Islamic terrorist. History proves that only reciprocal violence stops them; they are only dissuaded by a greater ferocity.

History is replete with volumes of data that provides ample testament to the fact that terrorists are not interested in compromise. They don’t negotiate in good faith nor honor agreements. They only enjoin in treaties to temporarily placate their adversaries. It’s a time honored ploy to stall their enemies while they strengthen their armaments and fortifications.

The leaders of nations who negotiate on the premise that all men are basically trustworthy are equally responsible for the escalation of the final carnage that appeasement brings. President Reagan’s “trust but verify” approach to international agreements was clear, don’t trust.

Negotiations don’t change objectives. And the fine print in agreements is only adhered to after one side is vanquished, or if one nation is convinced that its annihilation is inevitable if hostilities unfold.

A nation’s might, and the resolve to use it, is a necessary pre-condition to peace. It was the military strength of the United States that ended the Cold War without bloodshed. And it was the fruits of capitalism, which Obama abhors, that overpowered the Soviet Union’s war machine.

Mr. Obama, a socialist with a Messiah complex, thinks he can cast a spell on international predators and terrorists? This arrogant little fool is betting the security of the United States on his charm, apologies and appeasement.

His economic initiatives have all but bankrupted the country. But he still desperately needs revenues to crush private enterprise, the enemy of his socialist ambitions. Without massive tax increases he is prepared to use the funds which previous administrations reserved for military readiness.

Appeaser diplomacy is always fatal. Only one question remains: How many unnamed Americans and Israelis will perish because of his domestic priorities?

Appeaser diplomacy is easily revived for the same reason the names of the five victims of the South Carolina serial killer are unknown. No one remembers the victims’ names. Obama is counting on that as he prepares to gut the military and unfurl a red flag over the White House.

Remember America

America’s birthday party on July 4 is a reminder of our heritage. Talk about luck! What arrangement of the stars put men of such great wisdom together in Philadelphia to hammer out a constitution which created the bedrock for the most successful nation on the planet?

It makes the contention of Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor, that a Hispanic woman’s judgment out shines the wisdom of white men seem kind of . . . well, dubious. That six of her rulings were overturned by the higher courts confirms the obvious. Her intellect is stained with the kind of bigotry that conflicts with constitutional objectivity.

Don’t forget the pioneers who forged this nation with pure guts. And never forget that at least one-half of all the early colonists arrived as indentured servants. They were slaves by any definition. They gave up five to ten years of their lives for the cost of passage.

And imagine this! They succeeded without political correctness, affirmative action, diversity, multi-culturalism and government handouts. The same can’t be said of Mr. Obama or Ms. Sotomayor. They owe their success to double standards.

One can only imagine this pair sitting in the room with Madison, Jefferson and Hamilton whining about the lack of government handouts and the need for reverse discrimination.

The ashes of the Civil War were still smoldering when picks, shovels and dynamite linked the west coast with the east coast in 1869. The transcontinental railroad coupled the spoils of the Mexican War with the east and the land acquired from Napoleon Bonaparte in 1803, called the Louisiana Purchase.

Only two years before the railroad coupled the nation, Abraham Lincoln’s Secretary of State concluded a deal with Russia to purchase Alaska. The press mocked this decision, calling it a folly. These little men didn’t stop their yapping until gold was discovered. At least the press bad mouthing the decisions of a Republican president hasn’t changed.

Our forefathers created a nation which has withstood two world wars, terrifying epidemics, the Great Depression and Communism. They revolutionized production and the sciences, put men on the moon and opened their hearts and treasury to those they vanquished in self-defense.

Not to be outdone, Obama just created a national debt of historic proportions and has grandiose plans to destroy the business model that accomplished these feats.

This nation recognizes and attempts to rectify its mistakes, believes in personal freedom and is a worthy friend. No other country in history has sacrificed more to free subjugated people and promote the prosperity of mankind.

And there sits Obama with a plan to subsidize the life style of 20 million illegal aliens, destroy the best healthcare system in the world, and cripple the growth of commerce by rationing energy. His willingness to cuddle dictators is a slap in the face to every American who sacrificed his or her life to stop tyranny.

Don’t trust Obama, Pelosi, Reid and Barney Frank.

We can succeed without the federal government suppressing our freedoms and ridiculing our core values. Socialists and Marxists and fascists don’t understand what made this country strong. These affirmative action creations actually believe government initiatives, rather than individuals with vision, built this nation.

These little people love second raters. In fact they have dedicated their lives to stopping the cream from rising in American society. Let’s dedicate our lives to stopping them. We owe it to our children and grandchildren.

Government Verses the People

Speaker Pelosi and her band of anti-capitalist freeloaders literally passed Cap & Trade in the dark of the night. The legislation was being written during the vote. Not one single member of the House of Representatives had read the thirteen hundred (plus) completed pages.

A few months ago this same group of miscreants voted for over one trillion dollars of spending to keep unemployment below 8%, without reading the bill. A handful of Republican Senators pushed this legislation into the win column.

The majority of Americans now realize that there was no correlation between the levels of employment and the government takeover of the financial institutions and the auto industry. In retrospect, it was a government power grab. Need evidence? The Treasury just announced that any knowledge of the administration and dissemination of this money is off limits to the public.

This didn’t stop seven Republican dwarfs from voting with the majority of Democrats for Cap & Trade. You can bet your last dollar that it benefited their standing with the bureaucrats, unions, environmental liars, welfare parasites, campaign contributors, and a few select corporations (i.e., GE, Johnson & Johnson, John Deere, etc.) that have been promised a direct pipeline to the US Treasury.

Eighty-five percent of the carbon taxes will go directly to corporations. And you will appreciate this. A Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac clone will oversee the fund’s dispersion.

The world’s leading experts have repeatedly stated that controlling carbon emissions will have zero impact on the health of the environment. They have presented a preponderance of evidence that disproves the relationship between carbon emissions and global warming.

It’s public knowledge that the EPA hid documentation that mirrored this conclusion. And for the record, all vegetation on this planet requires carbon to survive. No carbon means no trees, no crops, and no life on land or in the sea.

A few years ago Germany introduced similar restrictions on carbon emissions. It is now gutting the legislation which only served to cripple its economy. The tax burden suffocated its ability to compete in the world market and reduced the standard of living of its citizens. And it didn’t reduce carbon emissions.

Be afraid. If the Senate passes this legislation, the door is opened for government to determine the amount of energy a family can use. If a household exceeds its allotted ration, the overage will be billed at exponential rates.

Mr. Obama and Pelosi’s bill also gives the federal government the right to enter private homes and audit their energy efficiency. Unless a home is in compliance with the government’s definition of energy efficiency it can’t be sold. How many millions of older homes will be abandoned; how many neighborhoods destroyed?

No energy supplier will be required to reduce its carbon generation. But that is not the point of the legislation. It is intended to place every aspect of energy under federal control.

Pelosi’s estimate that the average family will only see a $15/month increase in its energy bills is pure fiction. Non-partisan experts predict Cap & Trade will raise electric bills between 80% and 90%.

And the cost of everyday goods, like food and clothing purchased by families, will rise between 20% and 30%. To survive, America’s manufacturers will move offshore, which will send unemployment in the private sector beyond comprehension.

In truth, Obama and Pelosi have all but bankrupted the United States in their quest to control the financial institutions. Now they want absolute control of energy and healthcare, and they are willing to destroy our standard of living to accomplish this objective.

This aggression is not about Republicans verses Democrats. It’s about Government verses the People. Congress and Obama must be stopped!
