Not everything that happens in Washington, DC deserves a lot of attention. But the accumulation of these incidents add context to the political debate. For example:

The Pro Life commercial produced for the Super Bowl got the Pro Choice crowd hot under the collar. Based on their response, they should stop the pretense and officially change their name from Pro Choice to Abortions R' Us.

Rahm Emanuel's description of the radical leftwing members of congress as retards, after they proposed attacking the moderate Democrats, raised a lot of ire and the call for his dismissal by Sarah Palin. A woman comfortable in the wilderness and in tune with nature should know that a fox smells its own hole first.

It's been determined that the Attorney General, Eric Holder, made the decision to read the Detroit bound, underpants bomber his Miranda rights. This is the same official who decided to have the terrorist, KSM, tried in New York City. And the very same guy who is out to hang some CIA personnel and Navy Seals for mistreating terrorists. It could be worse. At least he hasn't asked the US to practice Shari law.

The Earned Income Tax Credit, enacted in 1975 during Nixon's presidency, was supposed to be temporary. What began as a $1.2 billion program is now chewing up about $50 billion a year. These cash payments, which average $2659 per eligible family, aren't counted when determining their eligibility for food stamps, subsidized housing and Medicaid. It's the federal government's way of saying thank you to the people who don't pay income taxes.

The elderly are complaining because the government doesn't pay for all their prescription drugs under the Medicare Prescription Plan, enacted in 2003. Lest they forget, they were on the hook for 100% of the cost before 2003. So they should thank their children and grand children for this $100 billion, deficit-financed creation and shut up.

The defenders of the Obama administration claim the terrorist retention center in Guantanamo, Cuba should be closed because it incites blood lust and rallies volunteers for the Islamic Jihadist butchers. Here's an idea. Let's unite all the true believers by renaming it Club Obama and dedicate it to the destruction of the United States.

With the number of companies now pitching gold as a hedge against the decline of the dollar, can anyone doubt that it's a right wing conspiracy to smear Obama economics? Or are the ads part of the wakeup call the voters in Massachusetts heard recently?

It's common knowledge that Mr. Obama promised not to fill his administration with lobbyists. But he has a big heart. It must be difficult for felons, tax evaders, child molesters and Marxists to find a friend in the White House. Maybe it was an act of mercy for Obama to hire forty of them. At least, his generosity kept them out of Chicago politics.

As symbols go, the portrait of the Chinese communist, Mao, on a Christmas ornament in the Obama White House, pretty much tells Americans where Obama stands politically. Enough said?

Prove It Mr. President

The 2011 US budget, presented to congress by the current administration, calls for $3.8 trillion of spending. The same document estimates the government will gross $2.2 trillion in revenues. Do the arithmetic. The federal government's appetite will add $1.6 trillion to the deficit.

Finger pointing is fruitless. Here is the reality. Private enterprise carries the entire burden of the cost of entitlements and government overhead. And it can no longer sustain itself, entitlements and the government bureaucracy.

The US economy is in crisis because of government spending. Every job lost in the private sector reduces tax revenues, and increases the demand for government services. Increased taxes on the income of the surviving companies and individuals, to replace the contracting revenues, only results in the further decline of the economic engine.

Ironically, the growth of government bureaucracy and entitlements is a direct result of the hardships caused by taxation on business and especially on the Middle Class. Every government welfare program from Pell Grants to Day Care allowances to Cash for Clunkers is taxpayer compensation to justify the cost of government.

Every administration and congress, since LBJ introduced the Great Society in 1964, has expanded entitlements to pacify the taxpayers, and to build dependent constituencies. These government expenditures have put the economy on the brink of collapse because there is no fiscal elasticity left.

For five generations productivity in the private sector shielded most Americans from the negative consequences of over-taxation. Advances in technology hid the dire consequences of government expansion.

Arguably, technology was the root cause of the jobless recoveries in previous recessions. Without the advances in robotics and computers which spurred productivity, the current economic calamity facing America would have occurred in the late 1980's.

The collection, analysis and dissemination of information eliminated the jobs of middle management, as well as, the jobs on the manufacturing floor. This kept productivity and profits soaring. It also cloaked government's avarice and made the people on Wall Street rich as the stock market climbed to record levels.

Taxation and government regulation also pushed jobs off-shore, encouraged by Wall Street which was only interested in quarterly profits. The same phenomenon, and for the same reasons, have families migrating to states with lower taxes. This spirit of self-preservation is sowing havoc in the states which enriched welfare programs and bureaucracies, believing private enterprise would provide an eternal source of revenue.

The bubble broke on Mr. Obama's shift. The only difference between Obama and his predecessors is that he, Pelosi and Reid exposed the scam. TARP, the Stimulus, the 2010 Omnibus budget and Obama Care tore the covers off the charade.

His attempts to blame private enterprise for the recession hasn't impressed the taxpayers. He's promoting more government spending and higher deficits. He blows kisses to the bureaucrats when he should be practicing tough love.

It's obvious the Democrats do understand the repercussions of Scott Brown's election in Massachusetts. Before Brown could be sworn into office, they raised the debt ceiling another $1.9 trillion. This gives them a $300 billion slush fund to squander.

Mr. Obama, prove you are not an ideologue. Cut government spending across the board, or shut up and sit down until your term expires. Ditto for every state governor and every mayor.

Chris Matthews' Agenda

Chris Matthews is an informative, liberal specimen. After watching Mr. Obama's State of the Union address, he admitted that during the presentation he forgot that Obama was black. This reaction seems to indicate that prior to this event that Chris Matthews couldn't listen or watch Obama without thinking of his skin color.

His observation provides insight into the bias of the sensitivity indoctrination of the leftwing. Liberals demand that all Americans be blind to ethnicity and race. This standard doesn't apply to their spokespeople. Chris Matthews admitted that it has taken him at least two years to see Obama in non-racial terms.

There is a much darker side to his epiphany. Without equivocation, Matthews inferred that Obama's presentation was so good that he forgot Obama wasn't white. It's apparent that Matthews, in his experience and judgment, finds articulate, intelligent black persons so uncommon that they are mesmerizing.

That shouldn't comfort blacks. It's preposterous to suggest that Chris Matthews is a racial bigot. He's not. But he is a card carrying proponent of ethnic wars.

Whether consciously, or unconsciously, he is an advocate of racism, the wedge issue of the liberal agenda. The leftwing needs racism to justify and drive its socialist agenda. And understand, if Matthews is unconsciously promoting class warfare, he is a liberal dupe and too stupid to be taken seriously.

It's pure hypocrisy for liberals to condemn racism, while simultaneously encouraging political correctness, multi-culturalism and diversity. The implementation of these standards require racial profiling and automatically introduce racial friction. They were never intended to promote racial harmony; they were designed to muffle the proponents of personal initiative and self-reliance.

MSNBC did not hire Matthews because he has sensitive legs, it employs Matthews to promote the liberal agenda. And it has gotten its money's worth from him. He now personifies the left's willingness to repeat a lie until it's accepted as a truth.

The world has noted that there is no honor among thieves. This admonishment has never slowed Matthews or MSNBC from promoting Obama's administration and the deeds of Pelosi and Reid. Matthews and company are so contaminated by ideology that they have lost sight of truth.

A liberal news organization, without an unbiased perspective and balance, will rationalize and justify racism if it creates a shortcut to socialism. Chris Matthews is the poster child for this propaganda. Frankly, his act is just ethnic jingoism masquerading as inter-racial peace negotiations.

Matthews and company want the world to believe that all who oppose Obama's agenda are racists. But please note, he is the only commentator who brought the subject of race into the discussion. The other pundits and newscasters focused on Obama's message.

This explains why MSNBC is now a footnote. It dragged itself off the page by misrepresenting the integrity, generosity and aspirations of ordinary Americans. The crowd of effete, socialist sympathizers, like Matthews, have segregated themselves by promoting racism.

It's that Obvious Mr. President

In his State of the Union speech Mr. Obama knew what to say to appease the Americans revolting against his agenda. He is very good at knowing what to say when standing behind his trusty teleprompter. Of course, Americans are also aware that there is little correlation between his promises and his political practices.

His poll numbers are in the tank, so it is not surprising that he finally reached out to the Middle Class by focusing on employment. But it is hard to feel the love. It's obvious that this arrogant little windbag is galled to have to mend fences with the folks he regards as Bible thumping, gun toting, pickup truck driving dunces.

He assembled a prestigious panel to focus on the economy and job creation. The Middle Class Task Force appears to be a step in the right direction, especially after he, Pelosi and Reid spent the last twelve months and over a trillion dollars growing the government payroll.

It's just a shame that this body is filled with persons unfamiliar with capitalism and private enterprise. But it keeps decision making simple. They will conclude that another Stimulus is just the medicine the nation needs to heal the deficit ridden economy.

No one should be alarmed by the national deficit as Obama is now a deficit hawk. That's right! He promises to hold the line on 17% of government spending for three years, beginning in 2011. He forgot to mention that the budget and Stimulus he approved increased these sectors by about 24%.

Do the arithmetic. That's equal to a 6% increase for every year he will sit in the White House. Only a true believer in socialism would have the audacity to call this fiscal responsibility. But here's the deception. The deficit, without spending cuts, will grow $6 trillion despite this "fiscal restraint."

And never forget that his latest budget was packed with nearly 9,000 earmarks. Obama's promise to veto any spending bill which contained earmarks must have slipped his mind. Of course, his pledge of transparency, bi-partisanship and protecting the nation's security is also missing in action. In his defense, he may have selective memory syndrome (SMS).

SMS is a common malady among socialists. They don't even remember that every socialist scheme in history collapsed under the weight of universal conformity. So it's not strange or unusual for Obama to think the government is the chief job creator and the protector of the citizens from the perils of private enterprise.

Obama was all over America's enemies. He carefully explained that those evil bankers and financial types are the root cause of the recession. He's aghast at the size of their bonuses and incomes.

Yet, he forgot to mention the $33 billion that his administration secretly handed these players after publicly paying them $29 billion, a fair market price for the derivatives originally valued at $62 billion. Please note: $33 billion plus $29 billion equals $62 billion. What was Obama buying? Silence for Tim Geithner's complicity?

Just keep in mind that this is the same administration that offers terrorists the same legal rights as US citizens; the identical administration which refuses to concede that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were out of control, and the principle cause of the recession.

And don't forget! Every proposal Obama supported, from health care to energy, targeted the income of the Middle Class.

Since President LBJ introduced the Great Society, the Middle Class' standard of living has been ravaged by federal, state and local taxes. Government is solely responsible for its decline. Even the Democrats in Massachusetts realize this.

Yeah, it's that obvious Mr. President.

Taxes, Tenure and Entitlement

In their initial school year it's doubtful that first graders would select government dependent as a career over the dream of being a fire fighter, or actor, doctor, cowboy or astronaut.

School administrators don't engage speakers to promote welfare dependency on Career Day. And have you ever seen a booth at a Job Fair reserved for spouting the advantages and benefits of not working?

Yet, entire wings of government buildings are dedicated to administering welfare. The bureaucracy manning these offices competes head-on with private enterprise for growth dollars. Their jobs, like their clients, are totally subsidized by taxes generated by private enterprise.

The only tangible difference between the bureaucrats dedicated to the growth of welfare and their equally insatiable customers is union membership and ID badges. Of course, the parasites with the ID badges have one big advantage.

They pay themselves and swell their ranks first. Their clients only get the crumbs that are left over. In a nutshell, this explains the core inefficiency of any government controlled program.

Of course, the size of subsistence payments is carefully monitored. The payments must be high enough to guarantee brand loyalty and low enough to assure dependency. It's the same formula used to attract bureaucrats and retain their allegiance.

Unlike the folks in private enterprise, the success and life style of bureaucrats are not determined by ingenuity, productivity and marketing skills. Their economic growth is determined solely and exclusively by the outcome of elections. They prosper when taxes are raised.

Bureaucrats regard tax cuts like farmers regard drought. That's why the majority of them always vote for the candidate who espouses the need for higher taxes. Taxes pay their salaries and fund their marvelous retirement, vacation and medical benefits.

For decades the Democrats and Republicans have worked diligently to build government bureaucracy. The Republicans addressed the strategy in terms of compassion, while the Democrats created the right of equal outcome. Together they managed to give government workers numerical superiority over the workers in private enterprise.

The rapid growth of government finally caught the attention of the taxpayers. When they discovered the average annual wage of bureaucrats was about $20,000 higher than comparable posts in the private sector they became testy, especially with unemployment over 10%.

Now put the outcome of the recent Massachusetts senate race in the context of the exponential growth of government. Don't be deceived. Ninety-five percent of the bureaucrats and welfare recipients who voted, checked the Coakley box. The superior numbers of government workers and their welfare constituency got beat by turnout.

The Republicans may have benefited, but they didn't win. Both parties suffered a devastating defeat. Working Americans are taking back control of the country from government one elected post at a time. They see the relationship between higher taxes and loss of freedom. They now recognize the enemy; they are called incumbents.

Any politician who proposes higher taxes on anyone or anything to improve employment has his or her head stuck in a dark place, and the floors in Congress aren't covered in sand. The winners in 2010 will address deficit reductions through spending cuts and demand tax cuts to stimulate job creation. The rest will join Coakley.

Good Morning America

Scott Brown just defeated Martha Coakley and won a Massachusetts senate seat which has evaded Republicans for nearly six decades. Hang onto your hat. Here comes the spin and distortions and political contortions.

Fact: Every Democrat, Republican and Independent knew the result of the special election, to fill the seat vacated by Kennedy, was a done deal. Short of butchering her husband or spitting on Kennedy's grave, Coakley's path to DC was strewn with roses.

Fact: The primaries in Massachusetts are always hotly contested. Winning any primary election, for the House or Senate or dog catcher, automatically guarantees the Democratic contender a smooth ride to the finish line. Martha Coakley crushed her opponents, receiving 73% of the votes cast in the primary.

Fact: There was no need for Martha to mount a campaign beyond a few perfunctory appearances. Her verbal gaffs were immaterial. In a state that only recognizes one party a Democratic incumbent can be comatose and win. Contenders merely have to be able to sit up and take nourishment and demand higher taxes. She could do both.

Fact: In mid-December, 2009 Martha Coakley, without any serious campaigning, held a 20% margin of victory over Scott Brown. She just had to hang around for the election to confirm the obvious.

Fact: Scott Brown's political thumping by Coakley was rear ended by Mr. Obama, Pelosi and Reid. The cesspool deals they cut with Nebraska's Senator Ben Nelson and the unions to salvage Obama Care turned a de facto landside for Coakley into a sporting contest.

Fact: Scott Brown ran as the forty-first vote against Obama Care, for lower taxes and stronger national security. He waged his campaign against the Obama agenda. Coakley just happened to be the local candidate who represented Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

Fact: Scott Brown did not run as a Republican, nor did he profess loyalty to the Tea Baggers; he ran as an Independent under the Republican label. Although the GOP hierarchy will beg him to be their spokesman, he will not be their point man.

Fact: Scott Brown and his trusty pickup truck gave voice to working Americans. He gave them the opportunity to vote for themselves. He made it okay for ordinary people to fight for their right to be heard and be reckoned with.

Fact: The Democratic Party is so out of touch with working Americans that it actually ran commercials promising the end of Obama Care if Brown was elected. These arrogant, insulated weasels confirmed that Brown represented safe passage from a hated abomination.

Fact: Scott Brown saved the careers of many Democrats seated in Congress. His election proved that Marxism is not in vogue on Main Street. His election excuses sitting Democrats from following Obama, Pelosi and Reid. He made it safe for them to say "no thank you" to political suicide.

Fact: Scott Brown's election showed all Americans that the United States is not the property of the Republicans nor the Democrats. He woke the slumbering masses It's a new day in Washington, DC.

So good morning America, it's good to see you awake.

Calling All Parasites

The senatorial race in Massachusetts captured the attention of Mr. Obama. He must be exhausted. It's not easy dragging a teleprompter down the steps of Air Force One on a cold New England day.

The Democrats weren't expecting a Republican challenge in Massachusetts. They just assumed that the voters understood the vacant senate seat was part of the Kennedy Endowment. The liberals had anointed Martha Coakley to hold the post until another Kennedy heir could be propped up for the coronation.

So put Scott Brown's surging campaign in context! The Massachusetts voters are obedient masochists. A few short years ago they voted down the opportunity to eliminate the state's income tax. These voters are the perfect prototypes for socialist zombies.

It's obvious that the Democrats are confused and frustrated, and feel like they were blindsided. They truly believed that their neck-deep corruption and their socialist agenda had pushed all the industrious out of the state.

So regardless of the outcome, heads are going to roll in the Democratic Party for this failure to eradicate the pro-Constitution opposition in this bluest of blue states.

Obama came to Martha's rescue, hoping that he could change the election dynamics in the Commonwealth. He was informed that Marxism wasn't selling, so Obama settled for encouraging illegal aliens and the steadfast welfare crowd to vote on Tuesday. He hoped to attract throngs of parasites to the voting booths. And that's exactly why he showed up.

He didn't have to address the membership of unions, the trial lawyers, the educators and bureaucrats who already get the lion's share of the common wealth of Massachusetts' tax payers.

Obama must really miss ACORN's ability to turn out non-existent voters. Under the tutelage of the Democratic political machine, this criminal organization earned their keep by turning the election in Minnesota. Imagine the sorrow of Pelosi and Reid and Obama when the treachery of these community organizers was uncovered by Fox News.

But the Democratic faithful should fear not. Massachusetts Democrats have a strong communion with God. When the outcome of an election is in peril they can rely on the Almighty. He always delivers in Massachusetts. Low and behold the heavens will open.

Thousands will rise from the dead in time to be bused from the cemeteries to the voting booths. It's a miracle that happens in every close election. So it would be naive to expect Scott Brown to win a senate seat in Massachusetts.

In a one party state, patronage is not a shared commodity. Brown can only offer the residents of Massachusetts a chance to end the government tyranny. There's no proof that the majority of citizens want or can win a contest in such a corrupt environment.

Obama bet the parasites, who outnumber the hosts, will show up for a free lunch. That's all he was selling.

Reid's Misjudgment

You have to love it. Senator Reid got caught in the glare of political correctness. During the heat of the 2008 elections, he observed that Mr. Obama's light skin and ability to speak proper English made him a viable candidate. It was an accurate assessment.

Reid misjudged the impact of skin color on the voters' reception of Obama. It dates him. He has spent so many years telling minorities that whites are their enemies that he actually believes that nothing has changed since the Sixties.

But, Obama would still be a community organizer if he had delivered his campaign messages in the dialect common to inner city inhabitants. Black, vernacular English (Ebonics) is near universally equated with a sorry education and all the tangential shortcomings associated with this static environment.

Political correctness is a weapon that liberals rarely encounter, as it's designed to squelch the objective truth by besmirching conservative proponents. It's used to smear the subject when an accurate observation challenges the flimsy facade of the Democrats' propaganda. They always resort to personal attacks.

Naturally when a liberal is inadvertently caught telling an obvious truth, which contradicts the liberal message, the offender is excused and the incident is ignored. Had Sarah Palin or Senator McCain made the same statement as Reid, the Left Wing would have unleashed the dogs of war to destroy their reputations and careers.

This conclusion is supported by the willingness of the two most infamous, anti-truth scoundrels in politics to forgive and forget the transgression. There hasn't been a negative peep from either of the nation's two notorious race-baiting slugs, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. And the Black Caucus must be in hibernation.

Now read between the lines of Reid's statement in the context of the political campaign environment. Reid accurately concluded that an articulate and charismatic black had a better chance of winning the presidency than a woman with negatives as high as the Rockies. Obama offered the best opportunity for the Democrats.

And note Reid never mentioned Obama's inexperience, nor his associations with anti-American preachers, Marxists and terrorists. He correctly pinpointed Obama's strengths, and the opportunity to harness white guilt. It was an accurate assessment.

Now analyze Reid's decision to support Obama. Reid knew that Obama was the most liberal member of the Senate. Obama was a true believer, and black.

Thus, Reid could safely assume that Obama blamed the wealthy for the misery of minorities. And Obama's devotion to income redistribution, the green agenda, higher taxes on the wealthy, his anti-military and anti-business stances and his rejection of school vouchers were indicators that proved Obama had swallowed all the liberal propaganda.

Reid saw the ring in Obama's nose that would allow the Democrats to set an agenda that Obama would enthusiastically follow with a simple tug. It was an accurate assessment.

But Reid's judgment was flawed. He believed that an articulate, charismatic, black president could persuade the majority of Americans that socialism was superior to capitalism; that the nation's security would be improved with a smile; and, that Americans didn't care about deficits. He misjudged America, but not Obama.

Profiles Work

Most everyone can understand the negative impact and consequences of racial profiling. For example, if the police respond to a home robbery that was not witnessed, and react by only stopping vehicles in the area driven by minorities, that would be prejudicial and counterproductive racial profiling.

However, if neighbors witness the thieves and give the police a description of the culprits, it is not racial profiling if the police only stop vehicles whose occupants match the eye witness accounts. Or, if the police have a description of a thief spotted in earlier burglaries in the neighborhood, it is not racial profiling for them to concentrate on people with like characteristics.

In fact, any police officer who ignores the description of a thief in his or her search should be fired for dereliction of duty, or more precisely, for stupidity. But that is not the way the system works. Law enforcement and the application of common sense have been divorced to appease the sensibilities of the Far Left.

The security of the nation is held hostage by the advocates of Political Correctness. The inane enforcement of political correctness ignores the evidence and gives criminals the extra consideration granted protected species. The rights and safety and convenience of the general public become secondary to the safeguards granted certain groups, nationalities and those with specific religious affiliations.

Such government mandates are expensive, wasteful and require the suspension of common sense. Of course, this explains why Congress is held in such low esteem. They live to displace common sense by enacting regulations which criminalize it.

A farmer who discovers his chicken coop has been raided, after seeing a fox hightailing it across a field with a hen in its mouth, would not be inclined to suspect the dastardly deed was committed by the cows, horses, pigs and sheep in his farmyard.

However, if he had temporarily worked for Homeland Security, he would check all their mouths for traces of feathers. If he was a cop from a sanctuary city, he would only check the other livestock on the farm, including the hens that survived the attack.

Of course, these government trained farmers would all pretend that the dozens of similar attacks were random and unrelated to the growing fox population. Welcome to the world of airport security.

There is nothing in the world that makes one feel more secure at an airport than watching a TSA agent confiscate grandma's shampoo. And your heart swells with national pride when one of these scrupulous agents inspects the feet of a business man, whose wingtip shoes rest in a plastic bucket.

Everyone knows the process is a sham. The procedure was instituted to implement security without offending the real suspects. So to provide airport security and appease the sensibilities of the Far Left, hundreds of millions of Americans suffer intolerable lines which waste time and resources.

The Terrorists are the bad guys. It's time to be pragmatic and concentrate our resources on those who fit the profile of the Islamic Jihadist Terrorists. They are Muslims.

Here's a hint for the Democrats. No Islamic Jihadist Terrorist caught on the field of battle, or responsible for the attacks on America, was an Irish Catholic grandmother.

Keep a List

Americans are naturally optimistic. So as the polls continue to indicate that their faith in growth and prosperity has retracted appreciably, it's a good sign. Most can't attribute their apprehension to specific statistics or events. They just smell the country is unraveling.

They have lost faith in Congress' willingness to do the right thing. Again, the folks on Main Street can't necessarily define the actions required to stop the downward spiral, but they have concluded that the government solutions are riddled with "me first" considerations.

This sense of abandonment has really hit a nerve. It's the root cause of the anti-government demonstrations spreading from coast to coast and the take-no-prisoners attitude reflected in the town meetings. It's not a revolution; it's just the case that the public has reached a consensus. Government is out of control.

The realization that there is no distinction between government policy and economic failure has crystallized. The politicians are the culprits. They have greased the skids of economic collapse with self-serving spending.

Americans see no correlation between the massive deficits and the promised bridge to economic recovery. They are incensed by the cynical and blatant use of bribes, by both political parties, to insure the passage of legislation detrimental to the well being of the nation.

In fact, Americans know (instinctively) that the bailouts, make work projects and the government financial props for the housing market, vehicle sales, insulation and green projects create nothing but debt. They know these programs are a charade to protect the office holders.

They are aware that these programs were instituted to temporarily mask the dreadful consequences of unbridled spending. To date, the politicians have amassed $12 trillion of immediate debt, and these same politicians keep advocating more debt as the best solution for an economic recovery.

It's not. Americans know it's not. But the politicians have near universally rejected representative government in favor of building and grooming constituencies to protect their flanks.

The Democrats' inspiration for Obama Care, Cap & Trade, Amnesty and the denial of the terrorist threat is the promise of a Democratic plurality for generations to come. And it would be foolhardy for Americans to believe that the Republican opposition to these measures isn't self-serving.

Their intransigence is propelled by the same objective, namely, their reelection. It just so happens that their position on these legislative initiatives happen to coincide with the majority of Americans.

Business as usual can't continue. Obama, Pelosi and Reid have pushed the nation to the edge of bankruptcy. America needs leaders who believe in the people and the Constitution, leaders who are proud of the country and the principles upon which it was built, leaders ready to protect the institutions that protect the people from government.

We must stop electing liars. Here is a place to begin. Any politician who states that Obama Care is revenue neutral, won't create rationing, won't destroy Medicare, won't require massive new taxes, won't interfere with the doctor-patient relationship and will improve health care is a liar.

Start an "Enemies of the People" list with their names. It will be a good beginning to end the government reign of terror.

Happy New Year! The year 2010 looks more promising than 2009 for the industrious Americans who hope capitalism, the Constitution and Christianity can survive the Obama, Pelosi and Reid socialist cabal.

The Democrats in Congress are in full retreat. Obama Care will destroy the political careers of many in the House of Representatives and the Senate. Those seated in the Red and Purple States wishing to survive will not support Cap & Trade and blanket amnesty.

When the electorate discovers that a large portion of the cost of providing health care for the extra 30 million people is being dropped on state governments, which will require huge property and income and sales tax increases, the eyes of the tax crazed Democrats will be frozen in the headlights.

The Democrats' definition of revenue neutral is hypocrisy wrapped in lies and studded with fantasyland projections. If they pass Obama Care the cost of health care will grow in indirect proportion to the quality. Policy holders and Medicare recipients are going to get hammered. The income of the young and healthy will disappear in front of their eyes.

Few Democrats are bragging about the merits of the $878 billion Stimulus Package. It's no longer part of their lexicon. Likewise, they aren't talking about the masterful job Obama and company have done creating non-government jobs. And you can bet your last dollar they are not about to praise the Department of Homeland Securities Secretary, Janet Napolitano.

Of course, they haven't reformed. The coffers of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are being reloaded so unqualified home buyers and Democrats can con the public out of another $200 to $300 billion. It makes the Wall Street bonuses, which outrage their ethical standards, chump change by comparison.

The Obama "speak softly and burn the stick" international policy debut has crashed and burned. Only an arrogant, narcissist would have entered the field of battle in his birthday suit. Our enemies are shaking in their boots, doubled over in laughter.

The overall B+ Obama gave himself adds a whole new dimension to grade inflation. In fairness, he deserves an A+ for deficit growth, an A++ for the policies that have stopped the job recovery, and an A+++ for mastering the teleprompter. The grade of F- pretty much covers all other aspects of his first year in the Oval Office.

This insipid, little creature is still working under the misguided perception that Americans wait breathlessly for his next appearance with a teleprompter. He wore out his welcome in most living rooms when his guarantee of unemployment staying below 8% went up in smoke. And most are tired of hearing that President Bush made him do it.

Obama is tanking in the polls. This fact is a testament to the intelligence of the majority of Americans. Coupled with the declining viewership and readership of ABC, CBS, NBC, the New York Times and the other subsidiaries of the Democratic Party, the year 2010 looks like a year ready for a November recovery.

Fear the Electorate

It's difficult for any rational American to comprehend why Mr. Obama, Pelosi, and Reid despise the nation's success. We may never know. And it's equally hard to understand the effrontery of their contempt for its citizenry and the Constitution.

In the spirit of Christmas accept for the moment that this trio fervently believes that the benefits of socialism outweigh those of capitalism. Then allow that they are historically illiterate and are overwhelmed by the desire to share the nation's bounty with the less fortunate.

Now agree that their zeal to right inequities is pristine and is only motivated by their love of mankind and nature. Finally, acknowledge that they are not interested in power, and that their sole political goal is to set the world on a path to universal happiness.

About twenty percent of the electorate in the United States of America ardently believe that this trio is only motivated by these virtues. With all their hearts they believe that happiness is a right of birth and that uncontrolled prosperity is the root cause of misfortune. Another thirty percent conceptually accept these liberal tenets.

The trio's path to building eternal joy on earth got muddied by the fifty percent of social heretics who believe a person's financial destiny shouldn't be abridged by government guidelines, which define and allocate opportunity. They believe in the economic neutrality of government. They expect government to watch their backs while they toil on behalf of themselves and their families.

Most of these heretics never thought of themselves as capitalists, nor Constitutionalists, nor gave much thought to religious traditions or the scattered attacks on religious symbols. They were too busy working.

Their spirit of independence and self-confidence and trust of government created a period in history when their work ethic distracted them. For generations, they, maybe naively, trusted their representatives to strengthen and protect their ability to prosper. And they were too busy working to secure a foothold on the American Dream to notice their right of self-determination disappearing.

The erosion of self-reliance never occurred in pandemic proportions. It was more like the seasonal flu, expected and worrisome but never catastrophic.

Taxes kept encroaching on their personal goals. They didn't revolt. They just worked harder to build their dreams. Most never equated the government's demand for absolute equality and the growth of taxes with the gradual loss of freedom.

Fortunately, Obama, Pelosi and Reid abandoned the stealthy approach to building socialism. They regarded the election of 2008 as a chance of a lifetime to bury capitalism, Christianity and the Constitution. Their greed may have saved the nation.

Americans were persuaded that TARP was necessary, but the electorate was wary. The Stimulus, the bloated budgets, the takeover of the financial institutions and General Motors and the trio's decision to control health care at any cost awakened America's industrious class.

The realization that Obama, Pelosi and Reid despise their ethics and ideals is manifested by the confederation of Americans that hit the streets in protest. The Tea Party is not a political organization; it's a consensus.

Americans want America back. And they will take it back. Any politician who fears the socialist trio more than an irate electorate is doomed.

With all these distractions, the message of Christmas remains translucent. Mankind was blessed. The salutation, Merry Christmas, reminds all that the world is blessed with a guiding light we call Jesus, the son of God.

The New Enemies of the State

Well, the Mistress of Marxism, the Commune Captain and the President of the Proletariat have managed to ratchet health care away from the clutches of America's families and those evil private entrepreneurs.

Pelosi, Reid and Obama threatened, bribed and harangued Democrat, Ben Nelson, into accepting socialized medicine. The identical technique worked to crush the resistance of a handful of other moderate Democratic Senators who capitulated under the same pressure.

Because Nelson faltered, he will be welcomed into the ranks of the fifty-nine Senators who abandoned any pretense of supporting constitutional government. Like the others, Nelson withered and died under the convoluted weight of party politics.

These sixty Senators obediently subscribed to the logic that their protection of private enterprise and the economic benefits of capitalism will endanger the power, agenda and career of their leader, the narcissistic, socialist twit sitting in the White House.

They were convinced that the failure to pass Obama Care would limit the liberals' battle against capitalism, which in turn, would have undermined the influence and power of the Democratic Party.

In the final analysis, these sixty Senators succumbed to the implementation of socialized medicine to create a springboard upon which they hope to guarantee a Democratic voter majority. Their promised reward for abandoning support of the Middle Class is the opportunity to permanently control both Houses of Congress by overwhelming the forces that support Capitalism, Christianity and the Constitution.

This is what's driving Reid to conceal the details of the Democrat's health care plan, and demanding its passage without disclosing its contents. In fairness, the Senators whose districts are welfare bastions filled with the leftwing, lunatic fringe at least represented the wishes of their constituencies.

The moderate Democratic Senators, like Bill Nelson, raised their finger to the very Middle Class that voted them into office. They abandoned any sense of morality, their conscience, their oath of office and any shred of honor. These weasels endorsed socialized medicine to protect Obama's reputation and the march of Marxism.

And here comes a political charade. Ben Nelson and nine other closet, socialist Democrats were promised they could vote against the final legislation to protect their reelection chances, as final passage only requires 51 votes. Vice President Biden, the White House pet, will cast the deciding ballot.

Ben Nelson and the other so-called moderate Democrats are now the most dangerous representatives in Washington, DC. They blew their cover. Thus this band of traitors must support any legislation, from blanket amnesty for illegal aliens to massive entitlements and ruinous energy taxation, to quickly build and replenish their voter block to replace the industrious Americans they just betrayed.

Imagine the joy Pelosi, Reid and Obama felt when Nelson rebuked the US Constitution and capitalism. Now, Obama and the Democratic Party will officially declare the US Constitution, Capitalism and Christianity the Enemies of the State on Christmas Eve. They get three for one.

Terrorism by Any Definition

The vision of Mr. Obama and the Democrats has more in common with that of the Islamic Jihadist Terrorists than with America's families. Both these enemies are fighting an undeclared war against the United States of America.

If this contention is hyperbole, rather than a cold blooded assessment of the Democrats' agenda, the American people wouldn't be sounding alarms cross the land. Obama's agenda continues to imperil the economic survival of the nation.

The Democrats plan to steal the $700 billion in TARP repayments, and the unspent funds in the account, to grow the federal government. They pretend that this money is a real asset, but it's not. Every penny was borrowed and increased the national deficit $700 billion.

The $787 billion Stimulus Plan is a total failure. These funds were all borrowed to expand the power of government; and with good reason has the world questioning the US' credit worthiness. Sadly, either the White House can't account for the spending, or is hiding its distribution.

These are the same smarmy weasels demanding full citizenship for all illegal aliens. This act of "moral generosity" will cost $1 trillion in direct federal and state compensation for these new citizens the first year it's enacted. The federal share of this debt can only be paid with borrowed money. The states will be forced to raise taxes to cover this mandate.

Now the fiscal henchmen running the White House are threatening to use the EPA to expand the government's control of energy to protect the planet from Global Warming. Of course, their sole purpose (other than to appease Al Gore aficionados) is to indirectly raise taxes. This green masquerade party will cost every family Obama promised no new taxes about $3000 to $6000 a year.

Obama and the Democrats are hiding the 2000 pages of details in the Senate's version of the health care bill. If they weren't aware of the economic destruction it will cause, they wouldn't be concealing it from the public. The cost, when fully implemented, will add about $2.5 trillion to the national deficit.

This addition to the deficit is greater than the projected gross receipts of the federal government in 2009. Of course, its real cost is the deterioration of medical health care, including the ability of hospitals to keep their doors open and doctors to stay in practice. Obama Care is to US medicine what Pearl Harbor was to world peace.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid are in full attack mode. The current $447 billion budget, awaiting Obama's signature, is filled with billions of dollars in earmarks and raises government spending across the entire administrative spectrum a full 12%.

While 15 million Americans are unemployed the Democrats showered government with riches. In fairness, the economic psychopath sitting in the White House proposed spending billions of dollars hiring performance dance groups and other warm bodies to caulk windows and doors.

To cover the cost of their flagrant spending, the Democrats will raise the nation's debt ceiling another $1.8 trillion beginning with a stealthy $290 billion.

This should guarantee that inflation will soon send the cost of goods and services into a Jimmy Carter orbit. This universal thief will steal whatever scraps are left on the plates of the current generation of Americans, after Obama and the Democrats have stolen all they can from the future generations.

One Sorry Tiger

Is Tiger Woods preparing for a future in politics? He has showcased most of the attributes and prerequisites required for a distinguished career in government.

He doesn't honor his vows, is willing to abandon any sense of loyalty or ethics for personal gratification, ignores the expectations of his supporters and is too arrogant to consider anyone's financial security if his behavior pleases a handful of camp followers.

His great smile and lack of moral character make him a natural for national office. And he can play golf. He's practically a prototype for Congress.

To date, his only shortcoming is that he hasn't demonstrated the art of declaring himself a victim of a conspiracy. This skill entitles him to proclaim no responsibility for his actions, and automatically infers that his detractors are liars.

Tiger was born with a fabulous athletic skill and parents who understood the value of practice. Both of these assets are irrelevant, if not detrimental, to a political career. With the right family name and fortune an individual can by-pass that whole learning curve nuisance and buy an election.

It's obvious, Tiger doesn't understand the value of shortcuts. This character flaw would outlaw him from the Democratic Party and make him highly suspect in Republican circles. Think about it. The fool would probably want to read the legislation before casting his ballot.

If this character flaw doesn't have the potential to make him the laughing stock of the Washington, DC insiders, think of the snickering that would ensue if he showed up for work more than three days a week.

Holding a political office would be a difficult adjustment for Tiger after years on the professional golf circuit. His tournament competitors all had to play on the same course, on the same day and were judged by the same rules. Imagine the guffaws if he played by the same rules as those foisted on the voters.

And no bureaucrat ever subtracted points from his score card for the sake of multi-culturalism, diversity or to fulfill affirmative action requirements. It would take him years to adjust to the fact that his skin color should always allow him to replay any unsatisfactory drive, chip or putt.

The Black Caucus would shun him and label him an Uncle Tom for demonstrating that persistence, hard work and personal initiative are the backbone of success in America. His very existence repudiates their agenda.

The American Dream is within the grasp of any man or woman with the ambition and fortitude to achieve it. If that message got out, the liberal agenda would crash and burn. So be assured the liberals will claim that he was a target of those evil conservatives. It's coming.

His crime hurt his family and deprived millions of Americans from watching and admiring such a gifted athlete. If he looked America in the eye and promised he would never again be unfaithful to an oath, the people would believe him because he has already demonstrated his resolve to be a winner.

The Pretense Stopped

It's clear. The policies of Mr. Obama's administration are hurrying the country down a path of fiscal destruction. Most Americans now realize his presidency opened the doors of the US Treasury to a band of ideologically warped miscreants.

Of course, President George W. Bush and the Republican Party are responsible for deeding these flag burning socialists the opportunity to plunder America. The faces of the congressional Republicans were so deeply buried in pork, perks and political pillaging that they couldn't see the wrath of America's electorate.

The Republicans got what they deserved, a sound thrashing. The Democrats promised change in 2008, and they have delivered. They doubled the deficit and have outlined their plans to quadruple it. By comparison, their $787 billion Stimulus Plan shunted the Republican contempt for the electorate to the minor leagues. That's not the change Americans had in mind.

The major difference between the Republican and Democrat strategy can only be measured by a calendar. It took about six years for the Republican contempt for the voters to become clear. Obama, Pelosi and Reid only needed ten months to reach this pinnacle.

It seems that both political parties feel no compunction to represent the interests of the constituencies which elect them. They by-pass this core principle of democratic rule and violate their oath of office when they vow allegiance to their party rather than to the country.

The debate in congress, over destroying or not destroying the best health care system in the world, epitomizes where their loyalty lies. The Democrats (this time) are bent on acquiring control of health care to forever cement the power of government over the life and death of US citizens. That is absolute power by any definition.

In fairness, at least the Democrats have shed any pretense of listening to the public. They see the window of opportunity closing as Americans scream their discontent. This has only encouraged them to double their effort to bury the last vestiges of capitalism in insurmountable debt while they still have control of the White House and both Houses of Congress.

Harry Reid, the Senate's top weasel, stated that anyone opposed to the liberals' effort to substitute Obama Care for private insurance is pro-slavery and against women's suffrage. That these words dripped from the lips of a politician who has spent his career shredding the liberties of American citizens is beyond irony. He is to hypocrisy what the sun is to warmth.

And there stands an army of voters under the Tea Bag banner. These independent minded folks don't seem to like anyone very much in Washington, DC, and they are not impressed with party labels. But their greatest potential attribute has yet to be tested, their memory.

Currently the Democrats are rationing votes. Those members of Congress up for election in 2010 are permitted to vote against any legislation the majority of their constituency despises. All others will cast their ballots in favor of the party. The Democrats are betting the voters will forget about their "yes" votes by 2012.

Never forget those who squander the opportunity of our children and grandchildren to soar.

The Sea of Duplicity

The cynics were quick to express the opinion that Mr. Obama's Job Summit, held on December 3, 2009, was a fruitless, pandering, campaign styled event which produced much gas, while ignoring the engine and maps that propel prosperity. That's not entirely true.

The sickle and hammer crowd and the corporate toadies who attended the event defined the strategy and tactics of Obama's economic plan. They spoke in unison without innuendo. They informed the nation that the capitalist beatings will continue until the American workforces' morale improves.

Did you listen to their words? It was all about taxes. Obama and his team of socialist advisors seem horrified by the prospect that private enterprise may rebound. Between the lines, they label it worker exploitation and condemn it. Their weapon of choice, the confiscation and redistribution of income, is the battering ram they plan to use to smash the basic engine of economic growth, the accumulation of investment capital.

Communism failed because job creation and full employment are not goals. Rather, they are an outcome; the product of invention, expansion and profit motivation. No entrepreneur, CEO, or Board of Directors ever convened a meeting with the explicit, charitable goal of hiring more workers.

And only socialists, in all their duplicity, can pretend that the creation of make-work government jobs helps the economy. Every single, last government job depends on taxation to exist. Government workers are an anchor around the neck of every worker and employment seeker in the private sector.

Granted, Obama and his nest of fiscal vipers have resorted to by-passing the traditional source of government funding (taxation) in favor of printing money. This fiscal deception temporarily shields their spending, which is an admission that they fear a taxpayer revolt (not to be confused with temporary disgruntlement).

But both sources, taxes and deficit spending, cripple the recovery. Investment capital, the mothers' milk of growth, is siphoned into non-productive bureaucracies. Deficit spending creates inflation, which raises the cost of goods and services, which in turn, make US companies less competitive. The predictable outcome of these policies is stagnant employment.

It would be enlightening if a think tank compiled the trend lines which compared the growth of government employment and taxation to the creation/loss of jobs and income in the private sector, and the GNP.

It's conceivable, and frightening to postulate, but it appears that the current level of local, state and federal taxation has nearly destroyed capitalism's ability to overcome the liberals' determination to annihilate capitalism.

Politicians like Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Barney Frank, Dodd and Schumer built their careers on destroying the American Dream by fomenting class warfare. The Job Summit was just another confirmation of their intent to increase the size of government.

Employment and income growth will not materialize until these weasels are thrown out of office. Unless spending is slashed, taxes lowered and the nanny state laws rescinded, America's golden age is but a memory.

Americans have two options. They can join the food stamp crowd and tell their children and grandchildren to be thankful for government handouts. Or they can express their anger in the voting booth, and pass along the opportunities they inherited.

Mr. Obama Goes to War

The chattering class and the politicians on both sides of the aisle have all issued opinions about Mr. Obama's Afghanistan strategy. Those who tuned in to Obama's West Point, NY address need no interpretation from the media to be persuaded about the reception of his speech.

Many of America's finest, brightest and best educated youth were sitting in the audience. Their reaction to the presentation was telling. Although they were polite and well disciplined, there was no Hurray in their reaction.

There was something on their faces that expressed resentment for being made the backdrop of the "Mr. Obama Goes to War" theatrical production. Americans have seen the same expression on the faces of US military prisoners paraded in front of enemy cameras for propaganda.

And every seasoned officer sitting in the auditorium wore his or her best poker face. As expected, there was polite applause, but it was obvious that few of America's tested warriors embraced the man standing behind the title of President.

It's sadly apparent that Obama is no leader and has no life experiences that allow him to reach out and actually light the torch that generations of Americans have followed. He can't speak beyond the teleprompter; he can't feel the words; he can't rally America's patriots.

He has no substance. He doesn't have the soul of an American. He can't relate to their aspirations and is confounded by their self-reliance.

He is a pretender. Americans were deceived. They elected a man with sensational acting skills and great charm, a man completely satisfied with positive personal reviews, even though the production is panned and the theater closed.

It's his absorption-with-self that no words on a teleprompter can camouflage. He is a needy little person whose ambitions outpaced his capability. There is no character behind the image, no backbone behind the style, no knowledge behind the ascertains.

All the majority of Americans wanted to hear from Obama was that the United States will unleash forces dedicated to the eradication of the Islamic jihadist cockroaches. He didn't have to mention that it will cost money; money he has already squandered undermining America's might.

The statement just proved that he doesn't have his priorities in the correct order. To placate his socialist base, he had already thrown the CIA and New York's 9/11 survivors to the pack of wolves who gorge themselves on political correctness.

This was the big "if" in his commitment to the troops. In a few words he told our warriors that they could depend on his support unless Pelosi and Reid need the money for some welfare scheme. Nice, huh?

Our sympathy should go out to our warriors and their friends and families. No! Not because they will be in harm's way. Because they will be betrayed by a narcissistic, socialist twit who is living his fantasy.

A Pint Sized President

The White House minions have informed the world that Mr. Obama needs forty minutes of prime time to explain his Afghanistan strategy. That sounds about right for someone who spent an unprecedented ninety days waffling on whether or not to support the troops.

The guy doesn't get it. He was elected President of the United States a year ago, and he still hasn't read the job description. Obama is still wearing his community organizer tee-shirt.

He probably spent the last three months agonizing over whether to read the Islamic jihadist terrorists their Miranda Rights at the beginning or at the end of his speech. And who will be surprised if he mentions a White House website which will list the contact information for ACLU attorneys?

The reality is that the rubber hit the road and Obama doesn't have a drivers license. This may explain why he was so enthusiastic about the federal government buying 60% of General Motors. The good fellow was preemptively propping up his friends in the UAW before the unprecedented fiscal disaster his term in office would surely create.

That does make sense. And there's an equally strong possibility that congress passed the Cash for Clunkers legislation as a stop gap until Pelosi and Reid could figure out a way to force Americans to buy vehicles they don't want, from a company they didn't want to buy, at a time they couldn't afford to buy anything.

The smart money is betting on the threat of fines and jail time, you know, like the provision in Senate's healthcare bill for the healthy young scofflaws who neglect to buy health insurance. As his presidential limitations unfold, the need for the Democrat Party to authorize all healthcare decisions be immediately made by the federal government makes more sense.

With their penchant for crushing private enterprise, Obama's sickle and hammer marketing team more than likely concluded that government rationing is easier to sell in 2009, than trying to win an election in 2012, by which time the 2000 pages of legislation will be exposed as fiscal witchcraft.

It works for the believers. Too bad for the liberals that the majority of rational Americans finally see that this pint sized president is driving down the wrong side of the road. They ignored the leftward careening until they realized Pelosi and Reid were printing money to raise the driver seat so Obama could see over the dashboard.

He just hit another milepost. Literally! It seems that his friends in the field of science, those predicting that Global Warming was seconds away from destroying planet earth, are cooking the books. Who would have guessed that the liberals were cherry picking concocted, supportive data and deleting the truth? Answer: The majority of American voters.

Americans know it's the same gang of weasels that feign indignation when the electorate rejects higher taxes as the best and only solution for solving the fiscal crisis. It's the same old faces in the Senate and the House who support amnesty for illegal aliens, despise the secret ballot, pretend Medicare is efficient, hate cheap energy and hide from the voters.

Of course, these liberal Democrats prefer to be called Progressives. That's slang for America haters.

An Obama Thanksgiving

Lest we forget, today is Thanksgiving in ObamaLand. It's a day when Americans count their blessings. Of course, in a nation withering under the weight of government avarice, corruption and tyranny, this year's blessings are in short supply for too many Middle Americans.

The unemployed and under-employed probably aren't in a celebratory mood. Most have their fingers crossed, hoping the family car will hang together and their children will stay healthy.

Many of the fifteen million people in this boat are skimming on the fringe of eviction or having their homes repossessed. They are driving without insurance and haven't slept through the night in months.

Thanksgiving Day has a special meaning for them. The unrelenting collection calls will cease for twenty-four hours. But that's a blessing no one wants to experience.

The last thing Americans want to see is disappointment on the faces of their children. And Christmas is just ahead. Countless parents are quietly asking themselves how they can shield their kids from the despair they feel? This crossroad, where guilt and the feeling of inadequacy intersect, is a punishing place.

How many heads of family, not living these horrors, are looking over their shoulder, fearful of tomorrow? Probably the owners of too many small businesses if they have managed to keep their doors open by gutting their staffs, inventory and service. Most have no time to take a deep breath, and are putting in relentless hours, just hoping to survive.

Employment Security checks may pay a few bills for a few weeks, but at an awful price. They are a weekly reminder that nothing has improved. They undermine a job seeker's confidence and mock his or her efforts to regain some semblance of dignity.

They offer no long term solution; they merely substitute this congress' commiseration for the opportunities it squandered placating the ranks of the never-do-well parasites. The Stimulus Package was $787 billion of frosting on pet welfare projects.

It's the freeloaders' contentment with the status quo that anchors the recession in place. Obama spent all the US' reserves on their care and feeding. That makes as much fiscal sense as leaving the ammunition with the camp followers to lighten the load of the foot soldiers marching into battle.

The folks in ObamaLand announced that a job summit will convene on December 3. Jobs won't be mentioned. They will focus on taxes, confiscating private wealth and re-distributing it to states whose uncontrolled spending have sent their residents packing.

ObamaLand has a lot in common with Disney World. Enjoying either requires a suspension of reality. That's why the sickle and hammer crowd is attacking Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck with such ferocity. They not only fear the message, they fear it will resonate from shore to shore.

So this Thanksgiving Day let's hope the unemployed can take a little solace in the fact that millions of Americans see the truth, have identified the enemy and the cause of their hardships.

So hang tough guys while Middle America storms the Kool-Aid stands.

Remember the Alamo

The US flag should have been lowered to half-mast after the Senate health care vote on Saturday. Sixty senators agreed to debate the best way to obliterate the power of the Constitution, capitalism and Christianity.

It was not a day for anger; it was a day of sadness.

It was a requiem for the ideals and fortitude of generations of Americans who defended the world's right not to live in fear of government tyranny. Sixty people voted to snuff freedom's brightest beacon on earth.

Their act is beyond party labels and political squabbling. It defines the loss of America's pride in itself. The heroic tales of the generations of individual Americans who forged a nation with simple tools, perseverance and ideals were shunted aside; dismissed by sixty people anxious to extinguish freedom's breathe.

What happened to the courage of a nation founded on the principle that every individual had the right to pursue a life of liberty, the right to dream, the right to excel? What happened to a nation born of men willing to raise the colors on a battlefield? What happened to the spirit of America that propelled it to greatness?

Sixty people proclaimed its death.

Their names should be engraved in granite and anchored to Lady Liberty on Ellis Island. The monument's existence will remind the world that no people are safe, no shores impregnable, and no ideals immutable if the citizens entrust their rights to elected representatives who sneer at their oath to defend the Constitution.

It was a day of infamy.

Sixty elected representatives attacked the nation. They have no honor. They abandoned all pretense of Constitutional justification. Their sneak attack depended on secrecy, lies, distortions and the American people's natural generosity and trust of government.

And those who sold their votes for thirty pieces of silver should rot in hell for betraying every person on earth to whom America gave hope.

The sixty elected representatives' goal of universal economic slavery is built on the support of an ignorant constituency they groomed to run from challenges. They legislated multi-culturalism, diversity and political correctness to sap the vitality of American enterprise.

They justify the acceptance of defeat and retreat by labeling America's successful as aggressors and America's losers as victims. These cowards live in fear of the truth. That's why they ravage those who espouse common sense, those who shed a tear when they witness the deliberate annihilation of the prosperity of future generations of Americans.

Sixty senators put America on a death watch.

Their handmaidens in this treason, the media, celebrate the demise of the innate personal pride that is born of endeavor, the reward of accomplishment and their readiness to accept the artificial boundaries that decay the spirit of exploration.

I exhort every American to "Remember the Alamo" when they vote in 2010.

An American Nightmare

The sickle and hammer crowd is on the warpath. They want abortions, undefended borders, universal amnesty for illegal aliens, energy usage taxes, higher income taxes, another stimulus package and the ransacking of private medical insurance companies to support Obama Care.

These devout socialists haven't given a thought to the impact on the American economy. They don't see it as their problem as the ranks of their constituency are filled with freeloaders. They are beyond hope, beyond redemption, and so far, beyond the reach of the tax payers.

Because unemployment continues to grow without abatement these clowns finally scheduled a job summit. Of course, it won't convene until Mr. Obama returns from his eleven day Asian jaunt. He spends more time preening for the cameras and riding Air Force One than listening to the American people who pay the bills.

Obama is hooked. He can't pass an opportunity to use a teleprompter and act presidential. Does anyone believe that the leaders of China, Japan and India think he is anything other than a narcissistic twit?

All they have to do is tell him how pretty he is and he will follow them anywhere. It's one step below shouting "Here kitty, kitty, kitty. I've got some milk for you." At least cats get something for showing up.

There is no sense pretending the economy will improve with Obama at the helm. It has taken him ten months of dithering to admit unemployment is a big problem. Most Americans reached that conclusion before President Bush headed to Texas.

Obama should have been aware. After all, he read the words on his teleprompter. In fairness, Pelosi, Schumer, Reid and Barney Frank probably told him that spending $787 billion on welfare would solve the problem. Of course, their charming, little toady never questioned the wisdom or motives of his fellow Marxists.

This is the same twit-on-steroids that has convened eight meetings to determine how the US should continue in Afghanistan. How many kids in uniform will die because he doesn't want to offend the radicals in the Democratic Party?

Obama was probably surprised to discover that no military medal exists to honor officers who put political correctness above the safety of their troops. Including the outcome of the 2008 presidential contest and the massacre at Fort Hood, political correctness has proved to be more dangerous to the American troops than the H1N1 flu.

But fear not. Obama has decided to grant Muslim terrorists the same judicial rights as American citizens and more rights than American soldiers in combat. One can only guess that he hopes to drag the CIA and President Bush's administration through the mud for three years prior to the 2012 elections.

That he is willing to give the terrorists a worldwide propaganda platform and a detailed account of American surveillance techniques for political gain pretty much describes his allegiance to the United States of America. To describe Obama as anything other than an American nightmare is not being truthful.

Obama Can't Fake It

The national polls show that Mr. Obama is still personally popular. His favorability numbers have shrunk since March, but not as rapidly as the approval of his political initiatives.

His agenda is tanking. It seems Americans prefer capitalism and freedom over socialism. The majority of citizens have pretty much determined that selling their children into government bondage is not the change they had in mind.

Here is the problem America faces. Obama is a media creation. The liberal press propelled this punk, political hack into movie star status. He is all image and a great actor. Obama's problem is that the productions his casting agents selected are all tanking at the box office.

As the President of the United States, Obama can get face time around the world. But there is a growing disconnect with the voters. He is blinded by his press clippings. It's a common malady in Hollywood. He doesn't comprehend that the cameras are there because of the status of the office he holds, not because the world is anxiously awaiting his pearls of wisdom.

Like many Hollywood actors, accustomed to adulation by their groupies, Obama is deceiving himself. He still believes the raves and reviews for his acting ability substantiates his audience's respect for his opinions and agenda.

Access to publicity doesn't equate with automatic acceptance of the message. Obama is skating on the propaganda, distortions and lies of Pelosi and Reid. And this is wearing out his welcome.

His constant appearances on television, selling the left wing's wares, started because of the Democratic hierarchy's recognition of his natural charm and personal likeability. His reliance on teleprompters to deliver their message substantiates his need for a script. His time spent on podiums, acting presidential, is now a tedious joke.

He is little more than a pretender. His prepared appearances are being dismissed by the voters and the US' allies as paid programming. The radical, socialist agenda he espouses is so transparent, his naivety so obvious and his immaturity so painful that he has become a caricature of a charming toady.

So now when he appears on television, the viewers routinely know that some agenda issue or policy of Pelosi or Reid is backfiring. No actor can sustain popularity if his or her movies keep doing belly flops. And no amount of hype by friendly reviewers can fill the theater seats once the word-of-mouth appraisals are uniformly negative.

This is not to infer that Obama doesn't have a good intellect. His problem stems from the fact that his ascendency relied on the artificial standards of political correctness, multi-culturalism and diversity. This handicap is magnified by the fact he has no experience in decision making. That's why he dithers.

The President of the United States can't fake it. The free ride ended the day he entered the Oval Office. Try as they do, ABC, CBS, NBC and the New York Times can't conceal an empty suit. Their efforts only succeeded in destroying their own credibility.

Making Michelle Proud

Michelle Obama's assertion that she had never been proud of her country continues to portray the White House agenda. Her haunting remark, made in the heat of the presidential campaign, was an unrehearsed, unscripted declaration which gave Americans an insight into the philosophy of the couple now engaged in deciding the nation's future.

The First Lady, like her husband, is a socialist, and therefore a person devoid of any feeling for the 15 million unemployed Americans. It's not her problem; it's her springboard to happiness.

Unemployment creates a vacuum and a sense of urgency which makes the public susceptible to government intervention and control. And this is what lights the Obamas' fires.

Americans are rightly worried about the economy. In real numbers about 16% of Americans need a job. To that number add the 33% of American workers who are under-employed. That's a euphemism for the bread earners with part time jobs that can't make ends meet. They are scrambling to survive.

Few Americans work in companies that haven't experienced layoffs, or cuts in benefits or a reduction in hours. Those with regular jobs have little faith in their long term security. They keep looking for pink slips. This is what keeps their guts tied in knots.

This pressure is elevated by a frightening statistic. The savings of the average American family will only sustain them for six weeks. Too many families are only 42 days away from financial ruin. And there is nothing brewing in congress that will change these conditions.

To the contrary, Obama's reckless spending has chilled the world. The growth of the Dow is propelled by investors hedging against the crushing inflation that will sap the value of US dollars sitting in banks. Corporations are investing off-shore and the price of gold is soaring.

This doesn't bother the Obamas. Their entire agenda is focused on enlarging the size and power of government. They use class warfare to separate successful American individuals and companies from their wealth. But don't kid yourself. They don't want a classless society.

They want a two tier system. In their vision, government leaders displace the capitalist elite. Michelle Obama personifies the haughty attitude of socialists who believe the government leaders are an entitled species.

She is callous to the bleak reality that working Americans face. There is no elasticity left in their budgets. Yet, she has seen fit to hire twenty-two people to tend exclusively to her needs. This is in addition to the White House staff. The previous First Lady had one helper.

The Obamas' efforts to insure the federal government's control of private enterprise and healthcare is exemplified by every initiative winding through congress. They, with the help of Pelosi and Reid, have spent $2 trillion to create government jobs and prop up the states which promote otherwise, unsustainable welfare programs.

Not one penny or piece of legislation was geared toward helping small business. That can't be called an omission or mistake.

When the government ignores the engine that creates jobs in the private sector, and then proposes legislation that confiscates their working capital, the government is targeting the destruction of private enterprise.

The parallels of the Obamas' agenda with the growth of Communism in the Soviet Union are chilling. The current occupants of the White House represent all that is wrong with America.
