The Fuel of American Dreams

The liberal media needs no help from the conservative media to bury itself. Its efforts to mock and banish conservative thought congealed the national backlash against the size and power of government.

Recently, Mr. Obama declared the reaction and opinions of the Tea Party "amused" him because the group doesn't recognize or appreciate the tax cuts enacted by his administration. He is probably less amused that 76% of them think he's a stinking socialist.

Of course, the liberal press recoils from this description of his administration. David Gregory, Meet the Press' anointed liberal interrogator, was horrified by Rep. Michelle Bachmann's depiction of Congress and the Obama administration as "gangster government."

Three times last Sunday Gregory pushed his guest, Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), to condemn Michelle's remark as "over the line." His intensity and posture inferred that Michelle Bachmann was inciting the millions of would be Timothy McVeigh's, lurking in the Tea Party, to commit acts of terrorism.

He wanted to hear Marsha Blackburn admit that he was right; that a soft breeze would incite this mob to commit unspeakable atrocities. Had Bill Clinton attended, he would have nodded sagely and in a grave voice warn Americans to stay indoors until Obama and the press puppets could marginalize these constitutionalists.

The Merriam Webster dictionary defines a gangster as "A member of a gang of criminals." It makes you wonder how Gregory defines any cabal of legislators and executives who criminally ignore the fact that entitlements and interest on the national debt will devour 100% of the government receipts within fifteen years.

Let's not rush to judgment. There may be better terms to describe those who aspire to destroy the economic health of their country and send it into bankruptcy. But more than likely, Gregory would be equally offended by the descriptions, national saboteurs or Marxists.

Gregory's defense of Obama's agenda is undaunted by facts. This impresario of socialism was aghast when a Democratic shill pointed out that the membership of the Tea Party is nearly all white. He was practically stunned when he heard about this heart wrenching discrimination.

One can only imagine how hopeless he would feel if he knew 58% of the nation's citizens think the country is headed in the wrong direction. In his world, this perception could only be blamed on racism. In truth, racism partially explains the lack of minorities attending the Tea Parties.

Blacks who publicly support smaller government and spending cuts are crucified by the liberal media as Uncle Tom's. Black, liberal spokespeople on the Democratic payroll all but recommend the use of water boarding and exorcism to quell the notion of personal initiative.

So the next time you see a black person at a Tea Party, keep in mind the individual has a spine equal in strength to the keel of a Viking longboat. These are the people who understand that the engine that propels Martin Luther King's dream runs on personal responsibility.

Only Racist Terrorists Hate Deficits

Have you noticed? There is a dearth of congressional Democrats on the news programs. Not too many are stepping in front of the cameras to promote the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda.

That's quite an about face from the stampedes and flying elbows we witnessed as they flocked and jockeyed to be the center of attention in support of Obama Care. Their disappearance may be attributable to a laryngitis epidemic.

This would explain why they no longer answer their phones or participate in town hall meetings. And it's logical to conclude that their refusal to allow anti-socialists into their legislative negotiations saved the Republicans from this infection.

If their condition persists, Mr. Obama may have to supply teleprompters to the House and Senate leadership. If the screens are rotated 180 degrees, the Americans, like those who support the Tea Party, could read the communications.

A computer generated voiceover would guarantee balanced access to the reading, writing and arithmetic impaired who constitute the bulk of the Democratic base. And as customary, these free loading zombies could depend on the NBC, CBS and ABC anchors to repeatedly drill them on the merits of socialism.

But the teleprompter solution may not be enough. So expect to hear the spokespeople for the congressional Democrats to scream foul, as their efforts to mount mass rallies in support of socialism have failed miserably.

With the exception of illegal aliens, it seems their base won't turn out unless they are enticed with free tee-shirts, free transportation, free meals and refreshments, government paid signage, and a stipend to hold them aloft. This glitch has the Democrats in a panic. They will need serious money to win.

So it would not be unexpected if the Democratic candidates demanded direct access to the unspent Stimulus funds.

It wouldn't raise an eyebrow if they dipped into the nation's largest political slush fund for national advertising. What's to lose? Their constituency regards it as free money, and they have already lost favor with the majority of taxpayers.

Best of all, they could campaign without the need to address the issues in person. Of course, some will have to debate their opponents. This nasty problem can be solved if they employ the same strategy they used to pass Obama Care.

They can insist on un-televised debates behind closed doors and simply declare the winners. Pelosi and Reid could then announce that the Republicans refused to participate. And naturally, they can always depend on the broadcast news anchors to punctuate their victory from sea to shiny sea.

The Democrats realize it's going to be a tough year. They will hire Al Gore to backstop their hide & deny strategy, figuring that anyone capable of acquiring a personal fortune selling a global warming hoax would be an ideal spokesman.

Rumor has it, he has proposed sending all the ballots to the White House from the states which incur Democratic losses. Henry Waxman, Barney Frank and Maxine Waters have volunteered to recount the ballots.

You have to admire their determination and unity of purpose. They have unanimously agreed on a political theme for the 2010 mid-term elections, "Only Racist Terrorists Hate Deficits."

Hey Nancy

Imagine a gang of robbers claiming the reason they stole the gold from an armored car was to protect the environment by reducing the vehicle's weight and improving its fuel efficiency. Only despicable people, who hate flowers, clean air and children, would dare to question the purity of the thieves' motives.

Sound a bit implausible? This is the logic that created the fiscal quagmire the nation is facing.

Maybe you noticed. Every member of Congress is against deficits and higher taxes. Name one member of Congress who admits that he/she is pro-deficits. Name one member of Congress who confesses that taxes can never be too high. (Obama is president, so he doesn't count.)

Strangely, this is the same band of representatives who passes deficit busting legislation and then "with great reluctance" votes for higher taxes in the name of fiscal responsibility. Put this chorus to music and it would be Congress' theme song.

Based on their customary justification for hiking taxes, the congressional choir of angels is composed entirely of fiscal conservatives with big hearts. And heaven help those who question the purity of their motives.

Those who protest are defiled with labels proclaiming their insensitivity to social justice by these distillers of fiscal madness. So the revolt brewing on main street is not aimed at taxes. The screaming is about spending.

Americans are told they should support Obama Care because it's the right thing to do. As the congressional violin section tugs on our heart strings, the Democratic glee club erupted in sorrowful verses about the 30 million uninsured victims of corporate greed.

Say Pelosi, isn't this the same crowd that doesn't pay income taxes? You know, Nancy, the recipients of the $50 billion annual bonus called the Earned Income Tax Credit. Sorry, Nancy, we forgot. Tell us again why people should be rewarded for not paying taxes, but don't even pretend it's the right thing to do.

While we have you, Nancy, would you explain why Obama Care ignored tort reform. Experts across the country tell us that the practice of defensive medicine increases the cost of medical insurance about 25%.

No kidding, Nancy? A friend of a friend of your second cousin, once removed, only received a paltry $1 million when a doctor failed to mention the length of the free crutches the hospital provided were adjustable. No kidding? She never noticed her feet couldn't touch the floor until she sprained her ankle on her way to bingo.

That explains why you ignored tort reform. And here we thought you were protecting the income of your major contributors, the trial attorneys. Now we are embarrassed.

Before you run, Nancy, tell us why you pulled $500 billion out of Medicare. Wow! That's breaking news. Who could have guessed that you believe the lives of the elderly were being unduly prolonged by Medicare . . . you're not wearing your contact lenses are you?

It was just a guess, Nancy. You know, I'm not Harry Reid and we're not sitting in the Oval Office. Where are you going to shove your plausible deniability? That's just plain rude, Nancy.

A Republican Test

The smell of change is in the air. It's immaterial to guess whether the Tea Party created the anti-Obama sentiment, or Mr. Obama laid the groundwork for the Tea Party revolt. Both hypotheses lead to the same conclusion.

Americans don't like the pack of socialists running the country. All the polls indicate that Obama still lays claim to the hearts of about 31% of the populace. This same percentage of true believers pops up in every poll.

We can only guess what motivates such loyalty. It's safe to surmise that they love income re-distribution, selected career paths which eliminated the need to fill out a W-2 form, and cry foul when the funding for their life style is challenged.

To Obama's credit, he has faithfully advocated for this loyal core of the Democratic Party. And his legislative agenda proves that he is willing to be inclusive. He invites all Americans to join these parasitical followers, and enjoy the benefits the government bestows upon them.

His devotion and loyalty to the principal of government reallocation of private income clarifies his administration's decision to add 30 million people to the government healthcare roles before addressing job creation. And don't kid yourself. He sees the connection between job creation and government revenues.

The decision exposes Obama's plan to force and cajole the unemployed into the ranks of those dependent on government. Full employment and a rebounding economy would have voided the opportunity to force a majority of Americans into accepting socialized medicine out of desperation.

It's equally apparent that the Stimulus and Omnibus budget were designed to sustain government programs long enough to crush dissent. That they were sold as job creators proves the Obama administration understands the first priority of America's majority.

That Obama and the congressional socialists camouflaged the economic results with "jobs saved" statistics and phony "jobs created" statistics in non-existent districts testifies to their real consideration. They determined that their bullet proof congressional majority, combined with a rocky economy, was the opportunity of a lifetime to destroy the last vestiges of capitalism.

The objections of Americans to the blatant rush to socialism despoiled Obama's pledge of transparency and bi-partisanship. Once Obama and the Democrats saw that they couldn't convince Americans that capitalism was evil, they slimed Obama Care into existence as the law of the land.

Then Obama challenged every American to try to repeal it. In the vernacular, he told Americans to go to hell.

And don't be deceived. Obama and the Democrats realize that the national deficit they created will cause the collapse of the United States without massive tax increases. This is their compelling reason to suggest the addition of a national sales tax. The deficit permits them to proclaim increased taxation is patriotic, which disguises their real motives.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid only made one mistake. They underestimated the resolve of Americans to live in the land of the free.

So one question remains. Will the Republicans just whimper, or demand that any tax increases, including the expiration of the Bush tax cuts, be matched equally with spending cuts and balanced budgets?

A Medicinal World

Watch any newscast and try to walk away without muscle spasms and tremors and the impulse to pull your hair out. The practice of chiropractic medicine and hair transplant studios must be experiencing unprecedented growth.

Although it's not reported, the frantic behavior near psychiatric care entrances resemble mobs storming the gates of overbooked rock concerts. How critical is the situation?

Pagan religious ceremonies are booming. The run on anti-depressant drugs and sedatives have the pharmaceutical companies sacrificing lambs at corporate getaways to persuade the gods to protect the longevity of Mr. Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

Rumor has it, that when Representative Phil Hare (D-IL) stated, "I don't worry about the Constitution," the liberals in Congress cried passionately and begged Obama to make the day a national holiday. Of course, the president reacted indignantly, claiming Obama Care had already trampled the rights guaranteed on that musty old piece of paper. Aspirin anyone?

The dismantling of federalism must be a good thing. That only 19 of 50 states are challenging the right of the federal government to force citizens to purchase medical insurance or face penalties, indicates that 31 state governors believe states' rights are a silly notion. And who could be against the addition of 16,000 IRS storm troopers to insure compliance? Excedrin anyone?

The buzz is that the Democratic governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm, is investing heavily in GM stock, believing Buicks, Cadillacs and Chevrolets will soon be on the government's "Must Buy or Die" list.

The attack on Toyota's reputation, led by the House Energy & Commerce/Oversight Subcommittee Chairman, Rep. Bart Stupak, who just happens to be a Michigan Democrat, was pure coincidence.

What reasonable person would believe that Stupak had any political motivation to destroy GM's strongest competitor? After all, would a man who valiantly defended pro-life rather than submit to the proponents of government funded abortions be so unethical? A handful of Tylenol anyone?

Take heart! There's a realist in the Obama administration. Paul Volcker just admitted that the national deficit requires attention. He floated the idea of some nice tax hikes on "High Wealth Individuals." Let's be honest. The government confiscation of investment capital would only eliminate jobs in the private sector.

And everyone knows that comparable jobs in government pay about 150% more than in private industry. So why would anyone want to create low paying jobs? Way to go Paul. Tax those High Wealth Individuals out of existence.

We can worry about who is going to pay for those cushy government jobs after the last employee in the private sector collapses under the tax burden. That won't happen until Social Security goes into the red. What? It's already in the red. Does Wal-Mart sell Aleve by the pound?

The Democrats are mystified. They can't comprehend why 48% of the public share the views of the Tea Party, and only 44% of them share Obama's views. That's a tough one to figure out.

But for certain if those evil pharmaceutical houses ever invent a pill to counter the debilitating effects of a socialist coma the Democratic Congressional delegation and the Obama staff would be the mother load.

Realism and Racism

That Mr. Obama is flying around the nation selling socialized medicine is a good sign. Although he got Obama Care on the books, he never managed to get the people on the same page. There's growing evidence that it will never make the best seller list.

It's pretty clear that the majority of Americans aren't willing to trade access to quality care for higher priced, marginal care. Obama's cocky dismissal of the backlash defines his immaturity.

Americans smell the pack of rats scribbling on his teleprompter. They figured out that Obama Care is only tangentially related to improving healthcare. They know it really targets control of the distribution of medical resources to guarantee universal access through income re-distribution.

The goal would be admirable if it wasn't sold on the proposition that the addition of 30 million enrollees would reduce costs without sacrificing quality.

At face value this is absurd. The contention is the chink in his sales pitch which causes Americans to recoil from all things Obama. No matter how he poses this argument, it makes him sound like a pathological liar.

It's impossible to watch him campaign without concluding that he once thought that given the opportunity that he could charm the pants off every co-ed on the campus. He has deceived himself into believing that his charisma, coupled with the presidency, overpowers rational thought.

It's the story of his life. Obama is a taker with a deep rooted sense of entitlement.

He seems to be upset by the fact that Americans don't trust him. He blames this lack of trust on those who question his agenda and reasoning. He has resorted to flippancy and name calling. This defense can only be viewed as the childish tantrums of a shallow, unprepared man.

His reaction points to his sense of entitlement to have the absolute right to the benefit of the doubt. This is the mindset of a person who has never been challenged and could always rely on his victim status to dissuade attackers.

He was nursed on generational guilt and sympathetic promotion. So it is natural that Obama is all but screaming that his detractors don't like his ideas because he is black.

Sadly, and equally disgraceful, he is surrounded with minions willing to introduce the accusation of racism into the political debate. This is the last refuge of a political party whose arguments are void of intellectual and moral persuasion.

Americans are realists, not racists. Obama can't bridge this reality gap because he has always been shielded by the empty excuses for affirmative action, multi-culturalism and diversity. They aren't paths to success; they are excuse laden, intellectual creations to justify winning by legal decree.

Obama is tanking in the polls because Americans aren't buying his lame agenda. They no longer believe that President Bush made him do it. The proponents of social justice are cushioning his fall from grace with baskets of excuses. The realists are watching a loser, with no concept of personal responsibility, fall on his ass.

What Easter Celebrates

Easter is the pinnacle event of Christianity. Church services around the world will herald the message that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. It's this proof of his divinity that grew and sustained the Catholic Church and all its worthy Christian tributaries.

The members of society dedicated to erasing Christianity and its acknowledgment of man's spirituality, are working diligently to dispel the intrinsic relationship between man and truth. For the moment, accept the possibility that Jesus was a mortal man, a renowned prophet, and not the Son of God.

His divinity can be dismissed, denied, or misinterpreted, but not expunged. To deny the divinity of Christ doesn't change the impact of his teachings. That's the counterweight to the efforts of some to obliterate religion from man's consciousness.

Whenever or wherever people debate what is true, they admit that truth exists. Truth is immutable and morality is truth in action.

With the exception of the human species, all life on planet earth is amoral. Although cockroaches and rats have existed for billions of years, their sense of morality never evolved. Ditto for vegetation. Only one of millions of species have a conscience, the gatekeeper of truth.

So it's pretty farfetched to tie man's conscience to natural evolution. It's pretty obvious that man was endowed with a moral compass from the get go.

Truth is not measured on a sliding scale. Whether people believed the earth was flat or round, there was only one truth. Although the definition of acceptable and unacceptable standards of behavior change, no civilization existed without moral and ethical standards.

The Chinese philosopher, Confucius (born 551 BC), stressed personal morality. His Golden Rule, "Never impose on others what you would not choose for yourself," is a pretty succinct summary of the code of behavior in six of the Ten Commandments (written about 1450 BC).

The Greek philosopher, Socrates (born 469 BC) is credited by Plato for teaching that might doesn't make right. This is the common thread found in the Commandments pertaining to the rules of the road for human relationships.

It's quite amazing that every civilization, on every side of the planet, reached a consensus on the existence of deity. Man realized a greater power existed. This near universal conclusion that man has a spiritual connection to the deity can't be dismissed as random superstitions.

It's important to remember that religions don't create truth. Religion is an acknowledgment that man is endowed with a moral compass. About all formal religions do is attempt to codify man's knowledge of truth and encourage people to follow the compass.

That's the point the opponents of religion fail to see. Closing the churches and denying the existence of a spiritual world doesn't alter the truth. God is. And man's opinion doesn't alter this fact or influence him because truth is immutable. And that's what Easter celebrates.

Obama Care Psychosis

There seems to be a nasty illness sweeping the nation since Obama Care passed. Swarms of people describe a plethora of symptoms, including dull headaches, depression, loneliness, sudden rages and a sense of abandonment.

Medical professionals agree these psychological symptoms are similar to the Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) suffered by returning military combat troops. The Obama spokespeople are confident that greater income re-distribution will wipe out this growing malaise.

They believe the condition will evaporate once the government reduces the availability of quality healthcare, which will guarantee equal treatment for all citizens. Certainly they were buoyed by Fidel Castro's ringing endorsement of Obama Care, hoping it would assure all Americans that Mr. Obama's vision for healthcare is flawless.

Many in the private sector have noted a correlation between the televised appearances of Mr. Obama, Pelosi and Reid and their corresponding surge of anxiety. The Obama supporters believe this is merely a consumer problem.

They are guessing that the phenomena is a direct result of obsolete technology, as those suffering from Obama Care PTSD and dependent on private medical practitioners, own a lower percentage of High Definition, Widescreen TVs than those who regularly show up at the ERs for all their medical needs.

From the Democratic perspective the cure for Obama Care PTSD is obvious. The taxpayers employed in the private sector are its biggest opponents. The Democrats realize that Obama Care is better received and appreciated by those totally dependent on welfare.

Thus, the higher the Democrats can push up unemployment the better the chances of Obama Care's acceptance and their prospects for reelection. To this end, they cleverly built-in increased support for government controlled healthcare by incorporating job-busting taxes and articles into the legislation.

It seems they miscalculated. They can no longer depend on the exploding national deficit to cripple the nation by November, 2010. In fairness, they deserve an "A" for effort. They were simply slowed by those miserable miscreants who oppose Marxism.

The ABC, NBC, and ABC news networks reason that the civilians experiencing Obama Care PTSD have only themselves to blame. They have no sympathy for them, noting the symptoms are peculiar to selfish, racist, gun toting, Bible thumping Philistines. The stated corollary to this conclusion is that the Tea Party movement is dangerous.

The experts in the Obama administration are pleased with the growing evidence that the epidemic has not increased negative comments in the nation's emergency rooms. In fact, eyewitnesses report these patients seem to be experiencing a new sense of entitlement.

Of course, the Democrats are pinning their hopes on the greed of these parasites when the mid-term elections are held. The Republicans have been reduced to depending on the voters who support the Constitution, capitalism and Christianity. It's a pitched battle between the proponents of Marxism and Capitalism.

It's astounding. Who could have predicted that Americans would be voting to defend their freedoms after only fourteen months of Marxist rule?

Marxist Intimidation

The pressure on the House Democrats to vote for Obama Care was vicious. People on both sides of the political aisle admit that Representative Bart Stupak (D-Michigan) and five other pro-life Democrats were brutally threatened and bribed into voting "yes" for Obama Care.

Mr. Obama's Executive Order banning government funded abortions wasn't worth the paper it was written on. Representatives Stupak, Driehaus, Dalkemper, Kaptur, Mollohan and Rahall knew this, and relied on the stupidity of their constituents to hide their phony morality behind this flimflam.

Sadly, the United States is now in the business of destroying human life. The victims will never get the opportunity to vote, or protest, or raise their hands in self-defense, or be buried with dignity. The Stupak Six voted to bury them in a landfill at taxpayer expense.

The Executive Order charade blurs the real point. It's difficult to believe the stance of the Stupak Six on abortion was based on any moral conviction. Remember! They all voted for Obama Care once they could pretend it didn't include government funded abortions.

Their deciding votes pulled $523 billion out of Medicare. They weren't concerned with the healthcare rationing the legislation all but instituted. The Medicare crowd will be the next victims of Obama Care. It's safe to conclude that the Stupak Six weren't interested in protecting the elderly.

So forget the doublespeak. Essentially, the Stupak Six voted to fund the extermination of premature humans; and to withhold funds which would prolong the life and wellbeing of the elderly.

If they truly believe in the sanctity of life they would have voted "no," or resigned. Now, only one question remains. Where will they spend their 30 pieces of silver?

Anyone who believes that healthcare won't be doled out based on age, affirmative action, diversity, multi-culturalism and political affiliation doesn't understand the tenets of Marxism. Obama Care is a frontal attack on federalism, the Constitution, capitalism and Christianity.

The Marxist wing of the Democratic Party is jubilant. They won a major victory. They deeded the determination of who lives and who dies to the federal government. They empowered the IRS to fine, imprison and confiscate the property of any individual who objects to Obama Care.

And don't be deceived. The creation of 17,000 new IRS enforcement troops, who are selected by and report to the White House, is the beginning of a national police force. These troops will be directed to crush dissent.

The Obama administration and the Congressional Marxists are worried about a rebellion. Their conservative opponents are equally worried about being accused of inciting the violent overthrow of the government. Think not? Listen carefully to the universal admonishment of conservatives on the airways.

It's become standard boilerplate for conservative commentators to tell their audiences to renounce any form of violent protest. The Tea Party protests are noisy, but peaceful. So it's clear that these statements are motivated by their fear of the accusation that they incited armed sedition.

Their intimidation and fear of government reprisal should frighten all Americans.

Democrats Officially Declare War on Capitalism

On March 21, 2010 two hundred and nineteen Democrats voted for a socialist utopia.

To achieve this goal they ballooned the national deficit another $600 billion, shrank the medical funding for the elderly by $523 billion, increased the cost of medical premiums on American families, instituted medical rationing and government funded abortions.

The federal taxes on small businesses, on capital gains and interest on savings accounts were raised another $500 billion. The states will be immediately forced to raise billions of dollars of new tax revenues to cover the cost of the Medicaid mandates in the legislation.

For good measure Obama will hire 16,000 IRS agents to hunt down and fine companies and individuals who don't sign up for Obama Care. Prolonging the jobless recovery and the debasement of the US currency they see as bonuses for Marxism. Gulags to come?

A political pundit suggested the impact of Obama Care on the nation is as damaging as the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. That's false. The sneak attack on Pearl Harbor didn't destroy the opportunities of America's future generations, nor did it start the clock for the official decline and fall of the United States of America.

The assault on Pearl Harbor was a calculated risk. Japan hoped the destruction of the US Pacific fleet would provide it enough time to conquer and consolidate a vast empire. The goal of Obama Care has always been about the consolidation of government power before Americans woke up.

Mr. Obama and the Democrats in Congress cannot be accused of a sneak attack. Their quest to build a socialist society wasn't hidden. Obama's centrist persona during the campaign was a masquerade, but his political philosophy, although ignored by the mainstream media, was clear.

No one can claim they were blindsided by his virulent hatred of capitalism. His campaign and political allies manifested this stance time and again.

Many claim that Obama has ignored the economy. On the contrary, he declared war on capitalism, the foundation of America's success. The Democrats and Obama have made it clear. They want the government to be the sole source and creator of all employment.

The Stimulus, Cap & Trade, the amnesty hustle and Obama Care are frontal attacks on private enterprise and individual freedom. The Democrats are devoted to income re-distribution, the destruction of wealth accumulation and the growth of government.

The 219 Democrats were satisfied that the liberals had already inflicted enough damage on the American economy, and extended the power of government sufficiently, to ignore the will of the people. The nationalization of health care merely highlighted their contempt for America's voters. They feel no compunction to listen or respond.

The Democrats saw the nationalization of health care as a major opportunity to reverse the balance of power. Obama Care was always about removing the people from the decision making process. Obama Care is about government without checks and balances. It's about Obama's brand of Marxism. Now it's clear why he advocated for a national police force, the size of the US army, which would report directly to the him.

The Common Enemy

It seems the politicians on both sides of the aisle are holding their breath while the Obama Care debacle staggers toward resolution. The passage of this monstrosity is stalled because Mr. Obama, Pelosi and Reid can't convince Democrats that they can trust Democrats.

Now they know how the taxpayers feel. But Pelosi and Reid deserve a little sympathy. It's a tough sell to convince America's uninfected that vampires merit a shot at managing the nation's blood supply. This hurtle is a little higher than just exhorting the team to "Win one for the Gipper."

The crux of Democrats' problem is that the majority of the taxpayers know Congress is in greater need of reform than health care. Its members have forsaken ethical behavior. Bribing the opposition to throw the game and changing the rules underscores the corruption and demeans all Americans.

The Democrats are playing fast and loose with the rules. Their tactics to pass Obama Care are as tainted as the records of athletes on steroids. It's obvious that the ethical standards of Congress are subject to change without notice. This style of politics disgraces the sellouts, the players and the fans.

The process is corrupt and devoid of merit. It's a charade unrelated to the task of improving health care. The Democrats have walked away from representative government. They have lost touch with integrity and have reneged on their oath of office. They only represent their party's ideology.

This moral travesty is being prolonged by a media as partisan and unethical as Congress. It doesn't have double standards, it has no ethical standards. It punishes conservatives and rewards liberals by willingly convoluting or dismissing the issues and factual information which exposes the Gipper's agenda, lies and corrupt tactics.

The media's sordid efforts to distract Americans from the truth is aided by Hollywood's propaganda machine. Entertainment is a secondary consideration in their productions. This crowd has embarked on a frontal attack to persuade the world that all conservatives and moderates are racist, greedy imperialists. And that the proponents of capitalism are the cause of all wars.

The truth has been kidnapped by these purveyors of affirmative action, diversity, multi-culturalism, global warming and Marxism. Their goal is the destruction of the soul of America because its existence repudiates their existence.

Liberals have one thing in common with the Islamic terrorists. Until 9/11 Americans didn't realize they were at war with the Jihadists. Until Obama, Americans didn't realize liberals were at war with capitalism. Obama's adherents and the Jihadists share the same goal, the destruction of America's freedom to excel.

This is not to suggest they are partners. They just share a common enemy, namely, us.

Democrats Need Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

Most every resident in the country received a letter from the U.S. Census Bureau informing them that the official 2010 census form will be arriving shortly. Its plea for cooperation states that a prompt response helps the recipient's community get its fair share of government funds.

It also determines the number of House Representatives each state is entitled based on population. States with growing numbers of residents may get additional seats in Congress, while those with stagnant or declining populations will end up with fewer.

California, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Michigan may have the size of their delegations reduced, while states like Texas and Florida may see their delegations increase in number. The redistribution of the 435 House seats have the Democrats worried.

The states that gain seats will create new districts to accommodate the increased representation. This puts the majority party, in the growing states, in a position to carve out districts that favor its members. The governors of these states will wield a lot of power. Their decisions will influence the direction of the country for a decade.

The Democratic Party, which controls all the states hemorrhaging residents, sees the percentage of residents in favor of their agenda growing. But they are not gaining converts; they are losing opponents. The productive citizens of these states are bailing out and heading to states with sane spending and tax policies.

The Democrats see the problem. They can't stop the brain drain in the liberal bastions, nor do they control the healthy states that appeal to the proponents of private enterprise. This explains Mr. Obama's attempt to tuck the 2010 census under the arm of the White House.

This effort, combined with the Democrats' proposal to use statistical sampling rather than actual body counts, would have allowed them to massage the data. It was a blatant attempt to preserve the Democratic advantage in the House by retaining control of the seats currently situated in Blue states.

The Democrats have been aware of these demographics for a long before the Tea Party movement. Their hopes are now pinned on illegal immigrants. States like Massachusetts have managed to balance the loss of their productive, self-sustaining population with illegal immigrants. The Democrats desperately need them counted in the census.

This explains the U.S. Census Bureau's introductory letter offering help in five foreign languages. But the strategy is backfiring. The liberals' solution compounds their problem by requiring ever greater taxes to support the welfare programs attracting illegal aliens.

This in turn encourages emigration from the Blue states by increasing the tax burden on their ever dwindling tax base. Like California, all the bright Blue states are imploding. Expect to see a rush of amnesty legislation in the coming months. But don't be naive. It has nothing to do with fairness and justice. It's not about helping the innocent children of illegal aliens.

It's about creating a majority consensus for socialism. It's the same reason Obama Care is being pushed. It's about crushing the opportunity still available in the Red states. It's about destroying the last sanctuaries of private enterprise and freedom of choice.

The Enemy of Prosperity

The Democrats and Mr. Obama are on a health care tirade. It is obvious that the objective in their take-no-prisoner plunge into socialized medicine isn't driven by potential improvements in the cost, quality or increased access to medical services.

Even the pretense that these considerations are the driving factors was abandoned right after America's citizens rejected the proposed legislation en masse. Obama's tune is changing. His latest speeches implore the electorate to accept the government's takeover of medical care to punish the evil insurance companies for the growing cost of premiums.

That's like blaming the unemployed for deliberately increasing the cost of the business contributions (taxes) which fund the benefit. If Obama's logic is applied, the unemployed should be punished for losing their jobs. After all, the rising cost is directly related to their greedy attempt to survive.

Here is a disclaimer. No one pretends, nor even alludes, that the thirteen hundred health insurance companies have never gouged a client. To believe this would be as naive as trusting that 100% of the Unemployment Compensation beneficiaries exclude illegal aliens and US citizens scamming the system.

The majority of the Democratic members in the House and Senate are screaming that without Obama Care the nation will not be competitive in the world market, and its rejection will ultimately cause the economic collapse of the United States. Granted, it's a lie, but for the moment take them at their word.

If Obama Care is the most critical lynch-pin to the survival of the nation it would be insane not to implement it. One problem: The cost of Obama Care will bankrupt the nation. It seems Americans are down to choosing which cliff to jump off. But there is a third alternative.

If the nation is doomed without Obama Care and will be doomed by its cost if it is implemented, it's time to examine the nation's priorities. It can survive without the EITC, all welfare entitlements, Pell Grants, the Departments of Education, Agriculture, Commerce and the EPA.

Then scrap Medicaid and SCHIP. And certainly the budgets of other government agencies can be reduced 30% if it means the nation's survival. Even the budgets of the Pentagon and Homeland Security can be reduced 10%. Illegal aliens cost the nation about $300 billion annually. Say good-bye to press #1 for English.

These cuts would provide ample funding for Obama Care, balance the budget and save the nation. It's remarkable that not one single Democrat has demanded budget cuts to save the nation from imminent collapse. Their solution is higher taxes.

Millions upon millions of US families have stripped their budgets down to the bone to survive, but not the federal, state and local governments. And we all know why. They only have one priority, namely, the preservation of their fiefdoms. That's why America is in a world of hurt.

It's time to admit that government is the real enemy of prosperity. Its growth erodes opportunity.

The Snakes in the Grass

Mr. Obama's reputation is about on par with nuclear fallout. He is determined to make socialized medicine the masterpiece of his administration's legacy. This objective has erased any doubts about his ideology. He has his fist in the air and is screaming all the Marxist slogans.

The election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts opened the White House doors, which barely concealed the deception and corruption required to dismantle the practice of private medicine.

The loss of the super majority in the Senate didn't create Democratic listeners; it just eliminated any pretense that Obama, Pelosi and Reid cared if their policies created the political equivalent of a nuclear winter.

Democrats won't escape the wrath of those who Obama disdains as Bible thumping, gun toting, pickup driving morons. Others refer to this body of voters as the Middle Class. Obama treats their objections as petty and uninformed obstacles to the wonders and rewards of life under the government's thumb.

The earthquakes in Chile and Haiti will pale in comparison to the global repercussions felt when the fault lines beneath Washington, DC open and swallow his followers on November 2, 2010.

But it's his willingness to sacrifice them to secure his legacy that is frightening. It begs the question. If he is willing to cut the throats of his political proponents, what has he planned to destroy his political enemies?

Obama is not an honest man. He is a devout, pragmatic opportunist with a messiah complex. His actions and words are those of a man who believes he is the sole arbitrator of the truth. His disciples in the media created and groomed this image, which carried him into office.

Despite its heroic attempts, the media can't rewrite the facts fast enough to bolster his reputation and justify his agenda. In fact, they couldn't even justify his existence without mentioning God's mercy, which they will never do as this would undermine their core anti-religious principles.

Although the voters were sucker punched, legions of them have regained their balance and are walking away from the myth. Obama is down to saving the core constituency of the Democratic Party. They are the parasites who depend on the taxpayers for their existence. The words of those in the media, which created the Obama myth, now have the same appeal as dog food.

Of course, the goal of socialism is to convince the citizens that it is better to be government pets and accept a universal diet of dog food, than allow the inequalities and inequities generated by personal incentive. In truth, income redistribution is political dog food masquerading as equal opportunity.

The Republicans are gloating due to their misconception that Obama has given them a free ride in the mid-term elections. Their lack of support for Senator Bunning's recent demand that the cost of the extension of Unemployment Benefits not be added to the national deficit did not go unnoticed.

Pretend Republican politicians are more revolting and insidious than the scourge of Democratic socialists. At least the Democrats have stopped pretending that they are defenders of the Constitution and support a robust private economy.

Beware of Democrats in Republican clothing. They are the snakes in the grass.

A Good Day for America

Mr. Obama is convinced the government can spend its way out of a recession. His mindset hasn't been deterred by public opinion, history, nearly insurmountable deficits and gruesome job statistics. His Health Care Summit was symptomatic of his state of mind.

It's clear that he believes: 1) Americans trust him, 2) that his intellect is superior to all other mortals, 3) that being President entitles him to ignore contradictory evidence, 4) that he has the absolute right to determine what is best for America, and 5) that disagreement with his vision is tantamount to civil disobedience.

He was finally transparent. His performance clearly denoted a smug, entitled, dismissive person blinded by his title and handicapped by his limited experience. He is a socialist troglodyte, unfamiliar with the aspirations, ethics and principles of the people who live beyond the horizons of his cave.

Obama is so tangled in self-love and Marxism that he will never be worthy of the title, President of the United States. He will never grasp the ideology of the nation's founders, nor admit that the fundamental rights listed in the Constitution aren't open to conjecture. He sees the Bill of Rights as an exclusionary impediment to his vision of government.

He is so steeped and comfortable with political corruption that he doesn't see the disgrace in these sordid practices. He has never drawn a line between success and success at any cost. The health care legislation epitomizes his contempt for integrity and his willingness to abandon fairness to achieve an objective.

His loyalty didn't blossom when he took the oath of office. He has never come to grips with the duty of a President to represent and protect all Americans. He is still mired in the tawdry relationships he made in Chicago. His representation remains confined to protecting and nurturing the corrupt and hungry bedfellows that followed him from Illinois.

Obama arrived at the White House without any experience in the private sector. Thus, his economic solutions are confined to addressing hypothetical circumstances. He doesn't share American's belief in the free market, because it's foreign to him.

In his eyes, personal responsibility and the risk/reward incentive are not substitutes for guaranteed government handouts. This partially explains his apology tour around the world. He believes Americans were duped by capitalism.

He was apologizing for a government, built on the aggressive pursuit of individual wealth, that he believes harmed the world by unfairly using more resources-per-capita than the other nations. This observation dovetails perfectly with his pursuit of Cap & Trade legislation. He wants to cripple, if not destroy, America's reliance on energy to harness capitalism and establish a new social order.

Those who claim that Americans learned nothing, and that no minds were changed by the Health Care Summit are wrong. They watched and heard Obama defend his administration's determination to substitute government control for private enterprise and freedom of choice. And they saw that he is not trustworthy. It was a good day for America.

Fiscal Insanity on Steroids

It's clear. The mounting US debt is on the verge of crushing economic growth for decades. The country is already being held hostage by foreign lenders. And the prospects for America's future generations look bleak.

There are no reserves. Yet, the Obama administration and Congress continue to ignore this reality. They are still promoting a healthcare program that will add about $300 billion a year to the deficit. Each year rampant legal and illegal immigration adds tens of billions of dollars to the deficit. There is no way to pay for any of it.

Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security are not sustainable without massive tax increases, benefit reductions and eligibility restrictions. Since the EPA was created in 1970, US dependence on foreign energy imports increased by 230%.

Until 1971 the US always enjoyed a positive trade balance. Today, manufacturing is nearly extinct. As the trade balance went permanently negative in the mid-1970's the political class soothed a suspicious electorate, claiming the future jobs in America would be generated along the Information Technology Highway.

Point of Fact: Rotten trade agreements, taxation and government regulation sucked the profitability from goods manufactured onshore. Corporations even received tax incentives to move jobs offshore. And here is the irony. The countries that the US deeded its manufacturing to are the ones that own its debt. These policies ripped a giant hole in the Middle Class.

Middle America has watched its earning potential dissipate, while the federal, state and local governments demand an ever higher percentage of its income. A large chunk of these taxes continue to be needed to cover the cost of welfare subsidies; the need for which is driven by government policies that have spurned economic growth since the 1960's.

The US rode the dotcom bubble for about twenty years before it crashed in the mid-1990's. That's about the time the government opened the gates of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to buy worthless mortgages. (Note: On December 24, 2009 Congress guaranteed these entities unlimited funding.)

The father of this fiasco was the Community Reinvestment Act, passed in 1977. That's when the government guaranteed the high risk mortgages the financial institutions were encouraged to write, under the slogan Equal Opportunity Lender.

Construction jobs in the housing industry were created in mass when the government guaranteed credit to the non-creditworthy. This turned out to be the largest public works scam in US history. Of course, when the bubble broke the financial institutions were reimbursed with the TARP funds. The costs will be picked up by the Middle Class for generations to come.

This is what makes it easy to understand why the $800 billion Stimulus never targeted job creation in the private sector. Having destroyed US manufacturing, all Congress could do was prolong government employment and create a few temporary public works jobs.

Again, future generations of the shrinking Middle Class will pick up the tab for this extension of the bloated government payroll.

The current recession reduced the trade deficit in 2009 to -$380 billion, from a high of -$760 billion in 2006. Those aren't just statistics. The trade deficit represent trillions of dollars that were never re-invested into the US economy, or increased tax receipts or created more jobs for forty years.

While the Middle Class is hanging on by its fingernails, the Democrats spent another $15 billion for job creation. It's fiscal insanity on steroids!

CPAC 2010

The Conservative Political Action Conference held no surprises. It was a rain dance. The attendees were fed plenty of red meat and those flirting with a 2012 presidential run were buoyed by the crowd's exuberance.

There was plenty of chatter about deficits and out-of-control spending. But the potential candidates and Republican Party stalwarts skirted specifics. A few alluded to the fact that Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP (Children's Health Insurance) are on the brink of collapse. That's not news.

The Key Note Speaker, Glenn Beck, momentarily disturbed the party faithful by accusing the Republicans of being as big of spenders as the Democrats. History and evidence is on his side. The remark wasn't a shot across their bow; it hit an open wound.

Although he didn't mention names, it was obvious that he wasn't there to put all Republicans on an economic pedestal. His finger was pointed at the likes of Senator McCain. It took the crowd about five minutes to realize the import of his message: It's the record and the political philosophy of the candidate, and not the party affiliation, that will count in 2010.

Beck was speaking for more voters than just the 15 million people classified as Tea Baggers. The electorate isn't hostile and it isn't radical, but it is aware, angry and vocal. And it is determined to wrest control of the government away from those politicians determined to guarantee equal outcome rather than equal opportunity.

Beck elaborated on this observation, stating that the fundamental difference between Progressives and Marxists is patience. The former are satisfied with evolutionary change and the latter demand revolution. Beck made it clear that they share the same objective, government control of the citizenry. Their craft is the art of trading personal freedom for handouts.

And there sits Mr. Obama, Mr. Progressive incarnate. He isn't the enemy of the Republican Party, he is its savior. In thirteen months he has managed to take control of the banking and financial community, car manufacturing and he even tried to control the outcome of the US Census.

He only made one mistake. He adopted the Marxist timeframe for revolution. Healthcare and energy were the first targets he attacked. He wanted them out of the hands of private enterprise before the mid-term elections. This frontal attack on the US Constitution created the Tea Bagger movement.

The Tea Baggers are not in the Republican corner. More precisely, the Republican Party is the enemy of their enemy. The coming healthcare summit hosted by Obama is a test of the Republicans' learning curve. If they adopt the new Obama plan after tinkering with its margins their political careers are over. A third party will form.

Americans want America back. They want the future of their children and grandchildren to be better than their own. This will only occur if the size of government is slashed and taxes are reduced. That's what the 2010 elections will demonstrate. No special margin will be bequeathed to the Republican candidates. They have been warned.

That's What It's About

Anyone not frightened by the agenda of the Obama administration must rely solely on MSNBC's news content. The nation's fiscal affairs are on life support. The surge of concerned voters, lumped under the Tea Bag label, was spawned by the wanton disregard of their economic survival by Congress and the White House.

There is no bridge between the citizens and the federal government. It's gone. The communication links have been severed. Mr. Obama's crew knows the unrest is growing; and they know the cause. But they have no intention of listening or changing course, just their tactics.

Rather than taking directions from the citizens, they have introduced a media blitz to ridicule and demean any person or group who challenges their agenda. They have declared war on the citizens of the United States. And they have the blessing and cooperation of the mainstream media.

The nation is hemorrhaging from deficits. With Medicare and Medicaid on the brink of collapse, any attempt to add another 30 million people to the government's health care roles is economic suicide. It's just not feasible.

Yet, Obama and his fellow socialists are still promoting this cause, while deliberately ignoring basic market corrections like tort reform. It's starkly clear that improving the quality and affordability of health care were secondary considerations.

Obama and company want to control healthcare to configure a society based on the usefulness and productivity of its members. Don't kid yourself. There is no room in their worldview for the aged, or physically and mentally handicapped. In their utopian future, the consequence of being labeled a "f------ retard" will be a death sentence.

The members of congress and the political pundits have advised the nation that the Cap & Trade legislation is dead. It's apparent that the scientific data supporting the Global Warming scenario was distorted and much of the evidence was faked.

Yet, Obama has threatened to unleash these draconian measures by Executive Order. He has threatened to license the EPA to choke the growth of fossil fuels and grant the federal government absolute control over energy usage, without the consent of Congress or the voters.

Why? It's not just because he is virulently anti-capitalism. That's a given. He needs the $600 billion of new taxes to fractionally reduce the size of the projected deficit. And, equally important, he can confiscate these monies from the budgets of those making less than $250,000 without appearing to break his campaign pledge.

The song of praise for the Stimulus emanating from the White House is falling on deaf ears. Only 6% of US citizens believe this world class Pork Barrel created or saved 2 million jobs. Most realize it only forestalled the collapse of unaffordable welfare programs and bloated bureaucracies.

The nation can only hope that 41 Senators can fight a rearguard action until the November 2 election. That's the day Americans will reopen the channels of communication by electing listeners. And that's what it is all about.

You Don't Say, Joe

The Obama administration is squirming. It's thrashing about looking for a reason to justify its existence. The only feat it has accomplished is the creation of a deficit that has ransacked the national treasury.

How desperate is this administration for a victory? Vice President Biden proclaimed that the US' success in Iraq can be laid at the feet of the glorious leader, the wartime Commander-in-Chief Obama. That's like giving the Girl Scouts of American credit for the invention of cookies. Nice try Joe.

But it is going to get a lot sillier. Obama is already guaranteeing that employment will grow at the rate of 95,000 jobs per month. After the loss of 4 million jobs in the last twelve months, that would be a positive accomplishment, unless they are all government jobs.

Of course, if this estimate materializes, the number of new positions won't even keep pace with the employment demands of those entering the job market for the first time. And with the 2.3 million new immigrants arriving this year, some of whom are even legal, employment opportunity for Americans will trend downward for at least another year.

In fairness, the pressure for jobs in America is reduced by the willingness of one-half of the illegal alien families to subsist solely on welfare. Joe, can Americans expect you to put these numbers into the Jobs Saved for Americans column. This would bolster the number of make believe jobs created by the Stimulus.

Granted Joe, the people are not giving Obama enough credit for his determination. He's still advocating a version of Cap & Trade this year, despite Americans' overwhelming rejection of the federal government's takeover of all energy production, distribution and the regulation of its usage.

Facing a potential increase of about $3000 in a family's annual energy bills would certainly reduce consumption. This would thrill the environmentalists . . . until they notice that every tree in the country is being cut down for cooking and heating. Hey Joe, would that have a negative impact on the environment?

While you're praising Obama's accomplishments, Joe, tell us how his Iran policy is doing. Did his strategy of publicly maligning the United States and bowing to foreign heads-of-state have a positive influence on the Islamic butchers? It's not apparent from here. It appears their smirking. Is that a good sign, Joe?

And Gee-whiz, did we just hear that China threatened to toss all its US bonds on the open market if we don't play by its rules? Experts state that if China pulled this trigger that inflation would destroy the value of US currency. Tell us Joe that Obama has a contingency plan, which doesn't include printing money, to counter this catastrophe.

Joe, Americans are pleased with Obama's new spirit of bi-partisanship. And we appreciate his sudden involvement with the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy. The vast majority of Americans would like this policy changed. After all, it seems unfair for the government and businesses not to question the resident status of people who need an interpreter to apply for a job or public assistance.

Oh, sorry for the confusion, Joe. You say Obama was talking about the military's homosexual policy. After political correctness got thirteen soldiers killed at Fort Hood, would it be impolite to suggest Obama's timing stinks as badly as his socialist agenda?

Voter Wrath

The recent Tea Bag convention in Tennessee rang some alarm bells. It's time to be a little suspicious of those running to the front of this army of angry voters.

Ostensibly the gathering was convened to bring non-affiliated participants together to share their ideas and to mobilize their efforts. But the Tea Party movement is an uprising of individuals who happened to stampede in the same direction at the same time.

They don't need a compass, nor a program to identify their elected enemies. Nor are they waiting for someone to tell them who they should vote for in the next election. They discovered the power of the federal government and lobbyists is no match for the common sense of middle Americans united around a set of principles.

The Tea Baggers don't need marching orders, they're giving them. They can smell the blood in the water and aren't about to apologize for spilling it. Their power stems from the realization that they are not a fringe group. They are at the center of America's political philosophy.

So it is fair to question the motives and agenda of those promoting organization and unity. There is a lot of money in politics. The spokespeople capable of turning out the vote prosper mightily. And in politics, perception pays as many dividends as reality. The convention had the distinct odor of opportunists attempting to cash in on a rebellion.

Mr. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and the Democratic establishment threw down the gauntlet when they informed Americans that voter input was no longer required or desired. By persuading themselves that the electorate was their private petting zoo, the Democrats mistakenly stepped on the tail of the wrong animal.

The voter response wasn't organized and it wasn't personal. But the attack was vicious. The crowd had no finesse, just the brute power of numbers. The election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts was not a warning shot. Rather, the American electorate stated emphatically that it wasn't in the mood to take prisoners.

To the chagrin of the Democratic Party, the protest didn't fizzle. The demonstrators didn't slink away and silently wait for a beating. That was the expectation and the reason Obama and company ignored and trivialized their complaints. After all, for fifty years middle Americans bowed to the pressure of government, believing they couldn't beat city hall.

Put simply, Obama and company overreached and discovered that Americans will rip the face off anyone caught putting them on a leash, and that they don't cotton to arrogant politicians who behave like masters.

The polarization of these voters isn't unique in American history. In fact, the origin of this discontent was attended by the same mid-wife present at the nation's birth. She doesn't have a name. She is only identified by the inscription on her banner, Don't Tread on Me.

Any politician who steps in her path will get an education in voter wrath.

Simple Observations

Not everything that happens in Washington, DC deserves a lot of attention. But the accumulation of these incidents add context to the political debate. For example:

The Pro Life commercial produced for the Super Bowl got the Pro Choice crowd hot under the collar. Based on their response, they should stop the pretense and officially change their name from Pro Choice to Abortions R' Us.

Rahm Emanuel's description of the radical leftwing members of congress as retards, after they proposed attacking the moderate Democrats, raised a lot of ire and the call for his dismissal by Sarah Palin. A woman comfortable in the wilderness and in tune with nature should know that a fox smells its own hole first.

It's been determined that the Attorney General, Eric Holder, made the decision to read the Detroit bound, underpants bomber his Miranda rights. This is the same official who decided to have the terrorist, KSM, tried in New York City. And the very same guy who is out to hang some CIA personnel and Navy Seals for mistreating terrorists. It could be worse. At least he hasn't asked the US to practice Shari law.

The Earned Income Tax Credit, enacted in 1975 during Nixon's presidency, was supposed to be temporary. What began as a $1.2 billion program is now chewing up about $50 billion a year. These cash payments, which average $2659 per eligible family, aren't counted when determining their eligibility for food stamps, subsidized housing and Medicaid. It's the federal government's way of saying thank you to the people who don't pay income taxes.

The elderly are complaining because the government doesn't pay for all their prescription drugs under the Medicare Prescription Plan, enacted in 2003. Lest they forget, they were on the hook for 100% of the cost before 2003. So they should thank their children and grand children for this $100 billion, deficit-financed creation and shut up.

The defenders of the Obama administration claim the terrorist retention center in Guantanamo, Cuba should be closed because it incites blood lust and rallies volunteers for the Islamic Jihadist butchers. Here's an idea. Let's unite all the true believers by renaming it Club Obama and dedicate it to the destruction of the United States.

With the number of companies now pitching gold as a hedge against the decline of the dollar, can anyone doubt that it's a right wing conspiracy to smear Obama economics? Or are the ads part of the wakeup call the voters in Massachusetts heard recently?

It's common knowledge that Mr. Obama promised not to fill his administration with lobbyists. But he has a big heart. It must be difficult for felons, tax evaders, child molesters and Marxists to find a friend in the White House. Maybe it was an act of mercy for Obama to hire forty of them. At least, his generosity kept them out of Chicago politics.

As symbols go, the portrait of the Chinese communist, Mao, on a Christmas ornament in the Obama White House, pretty much tells Americans where Obama stands politically. Enough said?

Prove It Mr. President

The 2011 US budget, presented to congress by the current administration, calls for $3.8 trillion of spending. The same document estimates the government will gross $2.2 trillion in revenues. Do the arithmetic. The federal government's appetite will add $1.6 trillion to the deficit.

Finger pointing is fruitless. Here is the reality. Private enterprise carries the entire burden of the cost of entitlements and government overhead. And it can no longer sustain itself, entitlements and the government bureaucracy.

The US economy is in crisis because of government spending. Every job lost in the private sector reduces tax revenues, and increases the demand for government services. Increased taxes on the income of the surviving companies and individuals, to replace the contracting revenues, only results in the further decline of the economic engine.

Ironically, the growth of government bureaucracy and entitlements is a direct result of the hardships caused by taxation on business and especially on the Middle Class. Every government welfare program from Pell Grants to Day Care allowances to Cash for Clunkers is taxpayer compensation to justify the cost of government.

Every administration and congress, since LBJ introduced the Great Society in 1964, has expanded entitlements to pacify the taxpayers, and to build dependent constituencies. These government expenditures have put the economy on the brink of collapse because there is no fiscal elasticity left.

For five generations productivity in the private sector shielded most Americans from the negative consequences of over-taxation. Advances in technology hid the dire consequences of government expansion.

Arguably, technology was the root cause of the jobless recoveries in previous recessions. Without the advances in robotics and computers which spurred productivity, the current economic calamity facing America would have occurred in the late 1980's.

The collection, analysis and dissemination of information eliminated the jobs of middle management, as well as, the jobs on the manufacturing floor. This kept productivity and profits soaring. It also cloaked government's avarice and made the people on Wall Street rich as the stock market climbed to record levels.

Taxation and government regulation also pushed jobs off-shore, encouraged by Wall Street which was only interested in quarterly profits. The same phenomenon, and for the same reasons, have families migrating to states with lower taxes. This spirit of self-preservation is sowing havoc in the states which enriched welfare programs and bureaucracies, believing private enterprise would provide an eternal source of revenue.

The bubble broke on Mr. Obama's shift. The only difference between Obama and his predecessors is that he, Pelosi and Reid exposed the scam. TARP, the Stimulus, the 2010 Omnibus budget and Obama Care tore the covers off the charade.

His attempts to blame private enterprise for the recession hasn't impressed the taxpayers. He's promoting more government spending and higher deficits. He blows kisses to the bureaucrats when he should be practicing tough love.

It's obvious the Democrats do understand the repercussions of Scott Brown's election in Massachusetts. Before Brown could be sworn into office, they raised the debt ceiling another $1.9 trillion. This gives them a $300 billion slush fund to squander.

Mr. Obama, prove you are not an ideologue. Cut government spending across the board, or shut up and sit down until your term expires. Ditto for every state governor and every mayor.

Chris Matthews' Agenda

Chris Matthews is an informative, liberal specimen. After watching Mr. Obama's State of the Union address, he admitted that during the presentation he forgot that Obama was black. This reaction seems to indicate that prior to this event that Chris Matthews couldn't listen or watch Obama without thinking of his skin color.

His observation provides insight into the bias of the sensitivity indoctrination of the leftwing. Liberals demand that all Americans be blind to ethnicity and race. This standard doesn't apply to their spokespeople. Chris Matthews admitted that it has taken him at least two years to see Obama in non-racial terms.

There is a much darker side to his epiphany. Without equivocation, Matthews inferred that Obama's presentation was so good that he forgot Obama wasn't white. It's apparent that Matthews, in his experience and judgment, finds articulate, intelligent black persons so uncommon that they are mesmerizing.

That shouldn't comfort blacks. It's preposterous to suggest that Chris Matthews is a racial bigot. He's not. But he is a card carrying proponent of ethnic wars.

Whether consciously, or unconsciously, he is an advocate of racism, the wedge issue of the liberal agenda. The leftwing needs racism to justify and drive its socialist agenda. And understand, if Matthews is unconsciously promoting class warfare, he is a liberal dupe and too stupid to be taken seriously.

It's pure hypocrisy for liberals to condemn racism, while simultaneously encouraging political correctness, multi-culturalism and diversity. The implementation of these standards require racial profiling and automatically introduce racial friction. They were never intended to promote racial harmony; they were designed to muffle the proponents of personal initiative and self-reliance.

MSNBC did not hire Matthews because he has sensitive legs, it employs Matthews to promote the liberal agenda. And it has gotten its money's worth from him. He now personifies the left's willingness to repeat a lie until it's accepted as a truth.

The world has noted that there is no honor among thieves. This admonishment has never slowed Matthews or MSNBC from promoting Obama's administration and the deeds of Pelosi and Reid. Matthews and company are so contaminated by ideology that they have lost sight of truth.

A liberal news organization, without an unbiased perspective and balance, will rationalize and justify racism if it creates a shortcut to socialism. Chris Matthews is the poster child for this propaganda. Frankly, his act is just ethnic jingoism masquerading as inter-racial peace negotiations.

Matthews and company want the world to believe that all who oppose Obama's agenda are racists. But please note, he is the only commentator who brought the subject of race into the discussion. The other pundits and newscasters focused on Obama's message.

This explains why MSNBC is now a footnote. It dragged itself off the page by misrepresenting the integrity, generosity and aspirations of ordinary Americans. The crowd of effete, socialist sympathizers, like Matthews, have segregated themselves by promoting racism.

It's that Obvious Mr. President

In his State of the Union speech Mr. Obama knew what to say to appease the Americans revolting against his agenda. He is very good at knowing what to say when standing behind his trusty teleprompter. Of course, Americans are also aware that there is little correlation between his promises and his political practices.

His poll numbers are in the tank, so it is not surprising that he finally reached out to the Middle Class by focusing on employment. But it is hard to feel the love. It's obvious that this arrogant little windbag is galled to have to mend fences with the folks he regards as Bible thumping, gun toting, pickup truck driving dunces.

He assembled a prestigious panel to focus on the economy and job creation. The Middle Class Task Force appears to be a step in the right direction, especially after he, Pelosi and Reid spent the last twelve months and over a trillion dollars growing the government payroll.

It's just a shame that this body is filled with persons unfamiliar with capitalism and private enterprise. But it keeps decision making simple. They will conclude that another Stimulus is just the medicine the nation needs to heal the deficit ridden economy.

No one should be alarmed by the national deficit as Obama is now a deficit hawk. That's right! He promises to hold the line on 17% of government spending for three years, beginning in 2011. He forgot to mention that the budget and Stimulus he approved increased these sectors by about 24%.

Do the arithmetic. That's equal to a 6% increase for every year he will sit in the White House. Only a true believer in socialism would have the audacity to call this fiscal responsibility. But here's the deception. The deficit, without spending cuts, will grow $6 trillion despite this "fiscal restraint."

And never forget that his latest budget was packed with nearly 9,000 earmarks. Obama's promise to veto any spending bill which contained earmarks must have slipped his mind. Of course, his pledge of transparency, bi-partisanship and protecting the nation's security is also missing in action. In his defense, he may have selective memory syndrome (SMS).

SMS is a common malady among socialists. They don't even remember that every socialist scheme in history collapsed under the weight of universal conformity. So it's not strange or unusual for Obama to think the government is the chief job creator and the protector of the citizens from the perils of private enterprise.

Obama was all over America's enemies. He carefully explained that those evil bankers and financial types are the root cause of the recession. He's aghast at the size of their bonuses and incomes.

Yet, he forgot to mention the $33 billion that his administration secretly handed these players after publicly paying them $29 billion, a fair market price for the derivatives originally valued at $62 billion. Please note: $33 billion plus $29 billion equals $62 billion. What was Obama buying? Silence for Tim Geithner's complicity?

Just keep in mind that this is the same administration that offers terrorists the same legal rights as US citizens; the identical administration which refuses to concede that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were out of control, and the principle cause of the recession.

And don't forget! Every proposal Obama supported, from health care to energy, targeted the income of the Middle Class.

Since President LBJ introduced the Great Society, the Middle Class' standard of living has been ravaged by federal, state and local taxes. Government is solely responsible for its decline. Even the Democrats in Massachusetts realize this.

Yeah, it's that obvious Mr. President.
